They call, never leave a message. It is a computer dialer determining the best time for a company to call. The computer takes note of what times you answer, thereby giving the best time to call you in person. This leverages the best time to call and affording them the focus of "the sales pitch".

I answered and a male voice said my name, when I asked yes? he hung up

They said they are Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc, calling on behalf of Canadian Tire Bank.

I spoke to Canadian Tire and get to know that they are not appointed by them.

Looks fraud, dont reveal your personal info

Didn't speak, call lasted about 30 seconds and it was heavy breathing!

Do not say the word yes to any unknown caller. They can record your voice

I called back and used a fake name. Total con job. So not call Fake. Dont fall for it. CRA does not call you or arrest you.

For almost a month i received persistent calls from this # (905) 233-1597, they never leave a VM. I call them back and found the company | Optima Communications| they are marketing company as per the IVR not sure if they are legit but very annoying!

They call roughly every day. Sometimes they skip a day. I only see it in history because I blocked the number.
I returned the call from my office phone and left a message as instructed by the robot voice to leave my number and name so they could remove me from their call list. It has been a week and I still have not been removed. FYI this is an illegal practice. They must allow removal

I've had more than one call from this number. They never leave a message, however, this time whoever called didn't hang up right away and I got voices in the background. One was a man on the phone with someone else and the other was a woman, either also on a phone call or talking to someone in their 'office'.

Woman’s voice called asked to speak to me and hung up. Very annoying.
