just called National Post and sent them an email..hopefully they take of this with there outside suppliers.

I received about 3 calls from this number within a week with silence on the other end. On Friday, when this number called again it was somebody trying to sell me the National Post newspaper. (I was a subscriber in the past at the number they called.)I assume they have a computer calling many many numbers (either from a list or just sequentially) constantly. When somebody answers the phone a connection is made to an operator who tries to sell you the National Post, or maybe something else depending upon what they know about you or who their clients are.If no operator happens to be available at that time, you just get silence. What do they care? It's much more efficient for them this way.

I'm in Edmonton, and house sitting for a relative. I keep getting a call from that number, and (647) 438-2359, every single day at noon, our time. I pick up the phone and hang up. Maybe they'll get the idea.

Just got called again. It's the NATIONAL POST. Respond to them however you wish.

This number has been calling me for about two weeks now. Very frustrating.
