I answered after the third ring, heard a female voice and others laughing in the background.  I said "hello".  They hung up.  This is a business hoping to earn money from phoning people and hanging up?

I just rec'd a call from this number, they introduced themselves as "Pam" from Landmark then all of a sudden, dead air. I ran a *69 and got their number.I wonder if they're a scam recording our voice and using it to register for something, as most call centres record your voice. Too far out?

I also work at Landmark.  How did you like the great news we got last Friday.  They promise us we'll work until the 23rd, the cut us off at the knees.  No notice, no warning.  Nice.  First they cancel the Christmas party with some lame excuse, then this.  People made plans according to this.  I guess it's all about the bottom line.  It's the new guy they hired to increase profits, I forget his name, the tall dude with the gray hair.  Since he came in, we can't read anymore, as if this job isn't boring enough.  Now we can't even fill in the minutes waiting for the next call.  What an a**hole.  $60.00 in gas cards instead of a party at the Pillar & Post.  I feel bad for Jay, he's the one who has to deliver the news.  And Kudos to Sherry and Kim...they haven't forgotten what it's like to be on the phones all day.  Really nice ladies.  Anyway, enjoy your 3 weeks off, and Merry Christmas.
