Robin, that was harsh, my dear. Very harsh. We may have a job no one likes, but we too, just as you, being a doctor, lawyer, or even a janitor (i dont know what your job is), need to work. Most of us don't sit there and say "hey, lets ruin someone's day by calling them at dinner!" We don't know when people are having dinner. We come in to do a job and get payed for it.James, unfortunately that kind of thing happens when representatives don't realize a call is coming in whilst they hold conversations with the person next to them. That is unacceptable.

You people disgust me.  I work at Landmark Home Solutions and I like my job.  My co-workers are fabulous and Jason (the man some of you like to insult) Is a craing nad good man.  If you get laid off, it is becaue you screw around or cannot do your job.  The company gives to its employees what the employees give to the company.If you have a problem with telemarketers who are ACTUALLY IN CANADA AND SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH, then don't answer your phone.  Buy you know what?  Telemarketers are not going anywhere....  Oh...and if you want a telemarketer to stop calling you, be polite and ask to be taken off the list.  Hanging up is NOT okay.  Swearing is NOT okay.  Threats and INsults is NOT okay.  Get it?

I also work at Landmark.  How did you like the great news we got last Friday.  They promise us we'll work until the 23rd, the cut us off at the knees.  No notice, no warning.  Nice.  First they cancel the Christmas party with some lame excuse, then this.  People made plans according to this.  I guess it's all about the bottom line.  It's the new guy they hired to increase profits, I forget his name, the tall dude with the gray hair.  Since he came in, we can't read anymore, as if this job isn't boring enough.  Now we can't even fill in the minutes waiting for the next call.  What an a**hole.  $60.00 in gas cards instead of a party at the Pillar & Post.  I feel bad for Jay, he's the one who has to deliver the news.  And Kudos to Sherry and Kim...they haven't forgotten what it's like to be on the phones all day.  Really nice ladies.  Anyway, enjoy your 3 weeks off, and Merry Christmas.
