guess i get to look forward to this a-hole number to be calling me forever!

Well, they apparently aren't very organized because I ran my credit report and found that there was an old debt that I owed from 2004 and they now own the account.  I've tried calling them twice already and held on the line for over half an hour just to square this up and nobody ever answered.  In addition, they've never once sent me a notice to my address when I confirmed with the original creditor that they have my current address.   They certainly aren't making any effort to get this money from me.  I wouldn't be trying so hard to pay it if I wasn't trying to buy a home.  So now I'm practically begging them to take my money, but they won't answer their phone.  What a bunch of weirdos. lol

These people called us at 7:33pm yesturday. We recently switched service providers about 2 months ago and since doing so we get calls looking for the other person who used to have this phone number. We are a business not a residence. So I spoke with Heather today at 10:25am by calling the number back (905) 715-7381. She said we would never hear from them again as she would remove our number from their list. She said that he filled out an application awhile back and that's how they got the number because I had called 411 on June 9th, 2011 and had them remove him from their listing because it was still showing our number and his name at a totally different address.

It is a collection agency - I called them back knowing I owe everyone money - "something" (paraphrase) financial was the operators greeting - I hung up. (called from google phone - let 'em trace me through California lol

It is in fact a collection agency, Square Two Financial and their legal department.
