Several calls a day non stop even if you ask to stops calls excuse is its automated they call and call no mail for proof just phone calls i think that company should be under review for harrassement

SCUMMERS buy out hardworking peoples' debt from big companies and chase these people non-stop to recupe the investment - plus SCUMMERS try to scam the original total plus interest from people? ! There is no due-diligence on SCUMMERS part - just call after call after call after call. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me several times a day, say that I owe money to a credit card I never had. Even got mail from them that I knew was garbage. Relentless bunch of scammers. Ignore Ignore Ignore. Block your number! They even managed to my work which is totally illegal. BUNCH OF ASS CLOWNS!!

Ever since we moved this past December and were given this new number we have been harassed by debt collectors....this (905) 671-4151 calls multiple times per day....I answer and a recording asks me to hold while they transfer me....I never get transferred....I hang up.....this goes on and on......please STOP!!!!! I am not who you are looking for.

Say this:

Put this in my file. I dispute the charges. I suggest you take me to court. Now stop calling and writing to me.Unless you send me detailed proof of debt owing By registered mail.

company keeps asking for Jessica somebody but they have the wrong phone number and I have already asked them to stop calling me.

He's a collections agent that large companies sell pass stature of limitations accounts on. Meaning he buys the over due accounts from the company like all collections companies do, but he is so uninformed about them that most of the accounts are beyond the dates of collection so he can't collect. Basically when a company wants to recover lost accounts and income they turn to him so laugh it off the guy if also a failure! He has our past due Cogeco bill, we owned about $300 in past due during a rough patch, but then declared bankruptcy so all our debut and credit was wiped. 3 years later (after the time frame an over due account can be collected on any ways) he starts calling, saying the interest has now brought it to $1000 or something like that. I told him it was a non collectible account etc etc. He tried to tell me we still had to pay it, I told him he better send me a collections notice in writing then, to which he replied "I only have a phone number, a first initial, sir name, and balance owed; in my records" I just laughed and told him knowing that even if I did owe him money I wouldn't pay him now since he'd have a hell of a time proving we held that account, with out having my customer number with Cogeco, some kind of ID number (since you needed to use some kind of federal issue ID to get Cogeco service), or even my first name (Particularly since every male in my family has a name that starts with "M")

STOP calling!!!!

I have begun having calls for 2 people who do owe $ that use to live upstairs . They call my line cause its the only # for this address.  Landlord lives upstairs and his is unlisted.  I get all the debt calls.  I try to be polite the 1st time, then I'm not.  If I don't answer they leave very long and dragged out messages which fills my tape so family can't leave any.  This does make me angry.  I've called them and said the situation, and to take my # off of someone else's case file.  I'm neither a relative or friend to the 2 they are trying to reach.  The calls didn't stop, so the next time I picked up, let them do their little speech, and then asked the lady if she was a good listener?  She said "yes", I said "good", cause I'm not the person they are trying to reach, I have no relationship to them, and to not call 1 more x or I'll report them to Bell.  Then repeated what I'd just said.  Problem, she hung up on me in mid-sentence.  She had told me her name up front, so I called the co. back and complained about so-and-so.  Then I hung up and called to complain a total of 9x's.  If they can do this to me I'll do it back. The next day got another call, this x by a guy.  I kept him on the line for 15 min. complaining.  Yes I could have finished in under a min. but they hold others up, so I wasted his x.  I can report this co. easier than some cause I owe no debt, and when I tell them to not call, they have to comply.I reported them anyway.  The lady I talked to said they receive reports about this co. alot.  And from people who owe nothing to them.  I think they believe cause the chick upstairs-- her middle name is Dawn, and my first name is Dawne.  Her name is Stephanie Dawn Dunsford.  I blocked calls from this co.'Its difficult, I can see they have a job, but when none of the names or numbers match up wouldn't you obviously know its the wrong person.  I relish for them to try and call again, I've had a tense wknd so I'd love tovent a little of that, I say good luck to their ear's.

This [removed] is calling numbers that do not correspond with people they are looking for. It is easier to call than do the work of finding out if number is related to person  they are looking for.  Our telephone providers are giving new numbers to subscribers and could not care less to help when companies like this are harassing us daily.

AMEN BROTHER!!!!!  As a debt collector we get treated like crap.  What most people dont understand is that most collectors are more than willing to work with your individual situation given the opportunity to do so.  We are not telepathic and do not have ESP.  We do not know that you lost your job or that you fell ill unless we are provided the information.  We, do not deserve to be belittled and degrated upon answering the phone.  Avoiding the calls or cussing out the collector will not resolve your debt.  Communicating with your creditors and coming to an amicable arrangement will.  Sometimes good people get into bad situations.  It is the professional debtors that attempt to avoid the debt until the statute of limitations is up.  "DEBT" is right, either pay your bills or go bankrupt.
