Several calls a day non stop even if you ask to stops calls excuse is its automated they call and call no mail for proof just phone calls i think that company should be under review for harrassement

SCUMMERS buy out hardworking peoples' debt from big companies and chase these people non-stop to recupe the investment - plus SCUMMERS try to scam the original total plus interest from people? ! There is no due-diligence on SCUMMERS part - just call after call after call after call. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me several times a day, say that I owe money to a credit card I never had. Even got mail from them that I knew was garbage. Relentless bunch of scammers. Ignore Ignore Ignore. Block your number! They even managed to my work which is totally illegal. BUNCH OF ASS CLOWNS!!

Ever since we moved this past December and were given this new number we have been harassed by debt collectors....this (905) 671-4151 calls multiple times per day....I answer and a recording asks me to hold while they transfer me....I never get transferred....I hang up.....this goes on and on......please STOP!!!!! I am not who you are looking for.

Yes, I've had debts, unmanageable ones.  I've been screwed over by an employer, and could NOT collect employment insurance.  I could also not get a job, due to being "terminated with cause" (which was [***]: I was doing the job as trained, and PROPERLY, not cutting corners... which is apparently the way to do it at Convergys: Get the customer off the phone, who cares if you fix the problem, as Convergys was paied by the call)Anyways, year later, new job, and with the credit card company calling 5-6 times 6 days a week, they were told to cease and desist.  The calls would NOT stop even when payments and arrangements were made. "Oh, it takes 48-72 hours to update the system" [***].  I spoke to a manager for PC Financial, and he agreed that if there were any more calls, the rest of the debt (which, at that time was INTEREST) would be forfeit, in lieu of me bringing them to court.I got rid of my phone.  I ended up running into the person who got my old number about 3 months later.The collection agency MJR would NOT stop calling, and were outright lying to the guy.  They said that I had provided them the number.  The would not stop calling even tho he had told them it was not the right number. (I only found out he had the number cause I heard him shouting at the twit on the phone). Same-said company did NOT provide the LEGAL paperwork that must be sent 10 days prior to calling, either.MANY of these companies go to the lengths of CRIMINAL HARASSMENTAnyways... long story short: Collections agencies go out of their way to harass people, and that is a damned good way to get people to tell them to F**K off, and the hell with the debts, out of sheer frustration.  The don't give a damn that they also get the wrong contact information, and do NOT seem to give a damn about verifying it.
 

They don't talk....

This number has called me a few times in the last few days at my cell phone number.  The thing is I had only given my cell number to ONE contact at ONE temp agency and these calls started that afternoon. When I answer, the 905 caller won't speak...just listens until I hang up. The timing shouts out identity theft.     So I will be talking to the temp agency regarding possible misuse of my personal information as well contacting the credit reporting agencies to ensure my personal information is not compromised.There really should be sound legislation and deterrents in place regarding shoddy collection agency or telemarketer practices.Suggestion for this website. Could you add call type:  "Calls but does not speak".

We've paid 90% of our debt with them and have paid ON TIME...yet they still call to harass my husband & I. We don't get it. I can't wait to be done with this company for something that wasn't even OUR fault.

everytime they call, say they have the wrong number.
if you tell them that three times and they call you a fourth time. completely flip on them, and threaten legal action because as you've stated before, it's the wrong fckin numberrrrr.
intimidate the collector and tell him to put you through to marty rosiks office immediately.
when you speak to rosik, tell him the same thing and again threaten legal action.
they'll stop calling.

PS
don't pay your debt for seven years and it will roll over giving you a clean start.

I am a single mom of 3 small children. I am also a PSW (personal support worker). I had a f/t contract for 2.5 yrs and then the company I work for screwed me over when they posted my position f/t permanent and gave it to someone else. Now I am only "Relief" and only scheduled 3 days/wk. Because of this, I can no longer make my credit card pmts. After trying to make arrangements with the 2 companies to no avail, they went to collections. They call my home and cell. I just never answered the phone. I ended up going to 310DEBT and doing a "Consumer Consolidation". I just signed the papers today and was advised by the lawyer to answer the phone, tell them I have done a consumer consolidation and give them the creditor line phone number. So, they called shortly after I got home and I answered it. The a**hole on the other end verified me and I then proceeded to tell him that I had done a consumer consolidation b/c I can't make the pmts and went to give him the number and the a**hole goes "Thats not binding" so I responded "What? I just came from the lawyers office and I was told to tell you that I have a consumer consolidation and to give you this number and you are no longer allowed to call me. All correspondance has to go through them. So here's the number", "Ok, I'll call them and then I'm going to call you back", "No your not going to call me back because your not allowed to. You have to talk to the trustee", "No, its not binding", "They're going to be sending you paperwork", "Ok, but its not binding so I'm going to continue calling", "No your not. Call that number and deal with them", "Ok I'll call, good bye". What a f'ing moron! Where the 'F' did he get that a consumer consolidation that goes through the gov't isn't binding? These people are nothing more than losers with nothing more than a high school education, working in a call centre for $10-12/hr. I worked in a call centre for almost 2 yrs when I put myself through college for a 2nd time. They had a collections campaign for Capital One American accounts. I didn't work for that campaign, but I knew people who did. I worked as a Supervisor in the billing dept for an American cable, internet and telephone company. You are NOT ALLOWED to talk to people that way. I'm more so referring to stories that other people on here have told. Even as a supervisor dealing with irate Americans who were screaming, yelling and calling me real nasty names and even making threats against my life, I had to treat them with respect and be nice. And I was. If I could do it under those circumstances, these f**ks can be nice. Especially since they are the ones calling us. If the a**hole I was talking to made comments like the ones I have read on here, I would have LMAO and said "This, coming from the small penis loser, who works in a call centre, making $10-12/hr, who accomodates by trying to act authoritative. Why don't you try getting off your lazy fat a** and going to college and getting an education so you can get a REAL JOB instead of trying to act all "Godly" by bullying and harassing people. Now you can go f**k yourself b/c you'll never get a woman, or a man for that matter. Good bye". I am not the kind of person to insult another person, but if you want to speak to me that way, I will put you in your place. So just keep in mind that these a**holes think they're so "cool" and "big" b/c they work for a collection company and they get a "God" complex and think they are above you. Meanwhile, they make min wage, just like anyone who works at McDonalds flipping burgers. So treat them that way. Unfortunetely, our econony  sucks right now, and people are ending up in unfortunate situations that are beyond they're control. Don't ever get upset over something these a**holes say. You can just hang up, and/or sue their a**es and then they won't get a dime. If the a**hole who called me continues to call, I will have to put him in his place.
 

Get American Companies out of Canada

these c**** call with blocked number first, then from a listed number like (905) 671-4151they use many different numbers to hide from being charged for harassment. They are stupid. These American f**** need to get out of Canada. f*** all American companies. Die Americans die. Stupid f**** come into my country and harass me. I do list all numbers and dates and times so I can show proof of harassment. They are really stupid. by law we don't even have to pay this debt. The money never existed. There for no debt.
