Several calls a day non stop even if you ask to stops calls excuse is its automated they call and call no mail for proof just phone calls i think that company should be under review for harrassement

SCUMMERS buy out hardworking peoples' debt from big companies and chase these people non-stop to recupe the investment - plus SCUMMERS try to scam the original total plus interest from people? ! There is no due-diligence on SCUMMERS part - just call after call after call after call. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me several times a day, say that I owe money to a credit card I never had. Even got mail from them that I knew was garbage. Relentless bunch of scammers. Ignore Ignore Ignore. Block your number! They even managed to my work which is totally illegal. BUNCH OF ASS CLOWNS!!

Ever since we moved this past December and were given this new number we have been harassed by debt collectors....this (905) 671-4151 calls multiple times per day....I answer and a recording asks me to hold while they transfer me....I never get transferred....I hang up.....this goes on and on......please STOP!!!!! I am not who you are looking for.

Always get the agents name and license number. (write it down).

Say this:

Put this in my file. I dispute the charges. I suggest you take me to court. Now stop calling and writing to me.Unless you send me detailed proof of debt owing By registered mail.

company keeps asking for Jessica somebody but they have the wrong phone number and I have already asked them to stop calling me.

Just send them a Sis and desist letter Via  fax or better still registered mail saying the you demand that they STOP calling you immediately and if they wish you contact you they can do so my mail only!Its the law they have to abide by your demand!!

everytime they call, say they have the wrong number.
if you tell them that three times and they call you a fourth time. completely flip on them, and threaten legal action because as you've stated before, it's the wrong fckin numberrrrr.
intimidate the collector and tell him to put you through to marty rosiks office immediately.
when you speak to rosik, tell him the same thing and again threaten legal action.
they'll stop calling.

You obviously work for a Collection Agency.  How is that minimum wage job working out for you?  Amazing how people still try to equate a person's credit score with someone's integrity.  The vast majority of people who take out debt that they eventually cannot repay did so in good faith, otherwise they are just fraudsters and criminals.

The Ontario Statute of Limitations is two years for most debt.  Once that runs out, they can sell the debt for whomever they like, they still can't collect.  Oh and here's a tip, the simplest solution to annoying phone calls is to change your number; the best $25 investment of a person's life!

I pay my bills on time, but when when I did previously run into problems with my creditors in the past, it was after being hit by a car and spending months in the hospital and then fighting with insurance companies just trying to get enough money to survive while lawyers fought it out.  Any creditor who questioned my integrity and threatened me with lawsuits didn't see a dime, those willing to work with me and treated me with respect were paid every cent even after the limitation period had expired.

People who feel the need to stoop to the level of name-calling and threats obviously are the ones with no class or integrity and will likely be spending the rest of their lives working at minimum wage for a collector.  Enjoy!
