Several calls a day non stop even if you ask to stops calls excuse is its automated they call and call no mail for proof just phone calls i think that company should be under review for harrassement

SCUMMERS buy out hardworking peoples' debt from big companies and chase these people non-stop to recupe the investment - plus SCUMMERS try to scam the original total plus interest from people? ! There is no due-diligence on SCUMMERS part - just call after call after call after call. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me several times a day, say that I owe money to a credit card I never had. Even got mail from them that I knew was garbage. Relentless bunch of scammers. Ignore Ignore Ignore. Block your number! They even managed to my work which is totally illegal. BUNCH OF ASS CLOWNS!!

Ever since we moved this past December and were given this new number we have been harassed by debt collectors....this (905) 671-4151 calls multiple times per day....I answer and a recording asks me to hold while they transfer me....I never get transferred....I hang up.....this goes on and on......please STOP!!!!! I am not who you are looking for.

Always get the agents name and license number. (write it down).

Say this:

Put this in my file. I dispute the charges. I suggest you take me to court. Now stop calling and writing to me.Unless you send me detailed proof of debt owing By registered mail.

company keeps asking for Jessica somebody but they have the wrong phone number and I have already asked them to stop calling me.

I am new to the area and just had a new land line hooked-up and now I receive numerous collection calls for people I don't even know.  Even after I have expressed that they have the wrong number.  It's annoying and intrusive and yes the messages on my machine left for random people are rude!!!!!!  I am feeling the sense of being harrassed for no reason.  Sure I can block the one number, but that's only a short term solution.  I need a long term solution.

Block the number on your cell

Look into a Class Action Law Suit against MJR Collections - There are two law firms in the Toronto area and another in Hamilton that specialize in Class Actions law suits.MJR Collections routinlely crosses the line maybe it's time they were sued instead.

if you do pay them, make sure you get documention. google some hints about how to protect yourself from them (try dave ramsey). way too much to put here, but i will say this, don't tell them anything about your job or bank, etc and get the deal in writing BEFORE you send money. they will try to bully you or trick you into giving away information, so be on guard as the main way they do it is to make you mad. you can likely discount the debt if it is old enough and/or your credit is already bad by 50% or more.
