This is not quite a scam. It should be, this because they do offer a service, for a fee. They claim to try  achieve a lower credit card rate.After they have their fee from your card, they phone to inform you that the card issuer will not aprove a reduction and thank you for your business. Even if they should get a lower fee you can do the same thing with your credit card company for free.

I got a call a few weeks ago from a man that had a very heavy accent and he argued and got really upset with me when I didn't co-operate with him. When he first called he asked for my husband, but once I told him that he wasn't home they said then mrs ****** you have a credit of $******* and asked me all this info about my name address and card crap. I finally hung up and he called me back 7 times after. Later that day he called back and left 3 messages. He called again 3 days straight.

Today I got another one and said the same crap. Gave me his name Adam Brown telephone number (905) 595-4511 told me he was from LIFG and his employee number and said "why would I make this up"? I just got tired of it and hung up. The whole thing is a scam.

I also got a call. I personally think its a scam! Its not even worth it. To the people that posted on this website and said that it's not a scam are the scammers themselves.

I got a call this morning from very heavy accented man. He claimed he could lower my interest rate to 3.5%. I told him to go get f**ked. He then gave me a number to call back at if i didn't beleive him (1 (905) 595-4511 ext 312) Upon calling another heavy accented man answerd the phone which i had trouble understanding, i told him after a few minutes to put me through to ext 312, which he did, and then the man who had called first anwswered the phone laughing (real professional moron). I finally picked a few choice words to lay on him, and hung up the phone. F****ng scam.

I think the same man called me biut from (905) 241-1057 and (905) 241-1054. He called the other day 5 times in a row.  I told him to stop calling.  He called at 8:30 AM on a saturday and woke me up.
