I have had calls from this same company, based in Toronto, almost every week for over 12 months now!!  I am sick of telling the guys - all with strong East Indian accents that I cannot understand - that I do not want my ducts cleaned, and take me off their list.  They promise to do so, but the next week they call again.  I have reported them to Bell; tried to block them; tried to trace them; no luck.I've been transferred to the 'manager' several times, and he's been very apologetic, promised not to phone again, but guess what?  The very next week the company calls again.  This is harassment.  Unfortunately, I cannot get the exact name of the company....  I think it is Phe Air Duct Cleaning Services......So guess what I've done?  Accepted their very good rate of $150 cash; they are coming to my house on March 3.  I am going to have the Police waiting for them when they arrive.

Did they show up?

Just got a call as well.  They are calling on bahalf of a company called "Metro Home Services".  Googled the company and they do not exist.  One poor guy exists in Bolton with this name but he does not perform a duct cleaning service and gets harassed cause of this company all the time.  I am going to try and be nice to him the next time they call and see where that gets me.  Don't feel like getting harassed by these people too now :)

You guys he called me today, but I speak the language. Yes he is Indian and so am I.
So basically, he calls asking for my parents, and I say they are not home. Then he doesn't even answer me when I ask him who he is but rather starts asking me really weird questions. Such as, who is this? And I honestly thought he was someone who might be my dad's client (as my dad is a lawyer) and so I just said I'm his daughter and was about to hang up when he asked me if i was home alone or if there was anyone else there with me. AND that's when I got freaked out and asked him rudely who the hell he was and pretended like someone was home, even though I was completely home alone. I then went downstairs and turned my alarm system on. It was 4:30pm in the day.

He sounded very creepy and yes it did freak me out. The number did not show up as unknown name and number and when he first spoke (not in english), I guess it was because he knew it was an Indian last name under the listing. We are also supposed to be on the do not call list, so maybe this guy is specifically targetting these numbers.

I took it a bit further and called the police because what he was asking was very scary and creepy, almost as if he was going to come to my home.

I hope hes caught soon, I would rest easy at night.
