Mom of three here tucking my kids in Have no voice mail or answering machine right now but got this call from the same number (905) 281-1282 at 8:53pm so I come down to see that number knowing I have seen it before on this site and others I press the END button on my cordless phone after the second attempt at that number calling ....

I too am getting countless calls from this number. No one is ever on the line, can not call back, press 1 to talk to someone after 45 seconds or so the line goes dead. I did a reverse lookup on yellowpages.ca and the (905) 281-1282/">(905) 281-1282 reverse traces to

How do we stop this indeed?? I have lodged formal complaints to my MLA, The CRTC (WHAT A JOKE THEY ARE!!!) Canada's national DO NOT CALL List is of no use either..

Then, press # and enter the phone number you do not wish to receive calls from.(2) To block the number from the last call received, dial *60 and key in #, 0, 1, #.(3) To deactivate Selective Call Blocking, dial *60 and press 3.

Anyone trying to call your phone from a number you have blocked will hear a recording advising them you are not accepting calls from their number. You can turn the feature on or off from your phone keypad at any time.

(1) To activate Selective Call Blocking, dial *60 and press 3. Then, press # and enter the phone number you do not wish to receive calls from. (2) To block the number from the last call received, dial *60 and key in #, 0, 1, #. (3) To deactivate Selective Call Blocking, dial *60 and press 3.
