Call from "Sydney NS" (902) 567-8434. In broken English, the caller informed me he was calling about the computer... from the "computer department". "Is that okay?", he asked. I replied "no", and just hung up. I AM the "computer department" around here! LOL

A man said my IP address was flashing red. (My computer wasn’t even on!) He said he needed my "computer login security login password" to fix it. I told him not to call back and hung up on him.

My friend in Arizona just got a call to go to login4speed.com. It is a scam. I found this on the 4th link searching for login4speed:http://www.mikedolbear.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=95090It links to this article:http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/18/phone-scam-india-call-centresThe caller gave a return phone number of +1 877-623-9180. The caller ID came up as (902) 567-8434Even when we called them on being a scam, they denied it and gave her public address/phone number as some sort of confirmation.I feel bad for people who panic and don't use google-fu!
