What did he say? My computer has a problem?  Please don't call meI am busy and screening calls just makes my day longer!! What is the scam?  Did not give info. Called back a couple of days later: NO ANSWER HERE!!

Jut received a call to my Oregon home from a number listed as Nova Scotia PEI (902) 567-8434. A woman with a very thick Indian accent kept saying, 'hello? hello?" then asked if I was (who I am), I said yes. She proceeded to tell me that she was from the 'computer department of the internet' (I'm laughing as I am writing this). She proceeded to tell me that she had been getting complaints from her "customers" that I had a virus on my computer that was slowing the internet down in my area, so she was making a 'courtesy' in calling me to help me make my computer better.   I kept her on the line for three minutes asking questions that were obviously NOT on her answer sheet and she was getting flustered. She kept telling me that she was calling a 'courtesy' to help me get through my slowness problem and help her customers.

Really?  Gee! Thanks!  You're awesome! Now listen carefully to me. I am calling the AG in my state to report you. I have your number. Take me off of your list and don't ever call me again. Now go away!

same thing...im in high school so at 1st i figured it was some1 4m school pretending to have an accent so i kept talking a little bit but they wanted me 2 get onto my computer so they could help me solve this problem and how it was very unsafe so i just said no i couldnt and hung up

My friend in Arizona just got a call to go to login4speed.com. It is a scam. I found this on the 4th link searching for login4speed:

The caller gave a return phone number of +1 877-623-9180. The caller ID came up as (902) 567-8434
Even when we called them on being a scam, they denied it and gave her public address/phone number as some sort of confirmation.

I feel bad for people who panic and don't use google-fu!

Call from "Sydney NS" (902) 567-8434. In broken English, the caller informed me he was calling about the computer... from the "computer department". "Is that okay?", he asked. I replied "no", and just hung up. I AM the "computer department" around here! LOL

(902) 567-8434 Called me in Oregon, USA  (I?m on the Federal NO CALL LIST and so that is illegal to even start with!)A man said my IP address was flashing red. (My computer wasn?t even on!)  He said he needed my "computer login security login password" to fix it.  I told him not to call back and hung up on him.
