Keep getting calls from this number. The name Syney shows up on the caller ID

Call from Nova ScotiaI just got a call from that number here in Springfield Oregon on May 6, 2011 at 7:36 P.M Pacific Standard Time.  The call dropped as soon as I picked it up.  I was curious because the Caller I.D. simply said :  Sydney NS                     (902) 567-8434

This jerk with an Indian accent  claimed to be from Microsoft, calling to warn that I had a "computer infaction" and needed his services to correct it!  What a pitiful scammer.

I got a call from this number Saturday 18 June. As I am in the UK I was surprised to be getting an international call.Similar to others, a woman with a very heavy accent told me I had a virus and my computer was flashing red on the internet. After about a minute or so of mumbo jumbo I gave up and terminated the call

Call from this number received 6/27/11 4 p.m MST.  Caller had such a thick accent that he was difficult to understand.  Once I could decipher what he was saying, I told him I have a computer person to look into this for me (which I do).  He just repeated his initial warning that I had some sort of virus and I repeated that I would look into it.  He hung up.

(902) 567-8434 Called me in Oregon, USA  (I’m on the Federal NO CALL LIST and so that is illegal to even start with!)

A man said my IP address was flashing red. (My computer wasn’t even on!)  He said he needed my "computer login security login password" to fix it.  I told him not to call back and hung up on him.
