Yep - they called me too but 807 area code is weird so I didn't pickup the phone. They didn't leave a VM. Now that I know there's gonna be some foreign f$%k at the end of the other line, I'll certainly pickup next time and screw around with them for hours...verbally tell them sh#$ that would make most people cry and have nightmares. They won't be calling  _me_ back...... Get A Real Job or GO BACK !!

this number just called me too at 4:45 pm eastern standard time with an aribic guy who answered looking for a mrs loiser  and i told him u have the wrong number saying well this number is yours and this is your name and we are calling about your credit  card saying they wanted to lower my intrest rate and argued with me that this was my name i just got my number a week ago and they would not listen , i called my service previder and well they cant do anything so i will have to call the police and report them have any of you had any leads to stop this ?

I got a call from the same number (807) 483-5392, when I answered the call I got no response from the other end. I won't be answering calls from that number again or numbers I do not recognize.

The best way to stop this is press 1 when requested and keep the live body on the phone as long as possible. Got a call from (807) 483-5392 to lower credit card debt. I pressed 1 then had the guy on the line for over 15 mins. They really don't like it when you waste their time, after all time is money. He swore at me and said I was wasting HIS time so I said, "now you know what it feels like". I laughed for the rest of the day!!!PS: Whatever you do "DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!!!" I like to ask them for the number of my Visa card first to verify they are who they say they are and then start wasting their time from then on as I don't have a VISA card.

Answer the phone, get a recorded message about lowering credit card interest rates.  The voice says to press 2 to discontinue calls, but that is an invalid response.  I pressed 1 to get a real person, and started off by saying that I would like to politely ask to have my number removed from their list.  He hung up on me immediately.  It's just an annoying scam, and when your number is already on the apparently useless Do Not Call registry, it's even more annoying.
