same # leaves voice mails with just background noise, tried calling back, get busy signal.

I answered a call from this number.  It was a male with a heavy accent selling website services.  He hung up on me before I could get much information.  Not exactly a telemarketer... he seems to be selling his own services, but not sure if he's legitimate - seems odd that he wouldn't want to provide any detailed info on his services.

Today I got a phone call from this number saying they worked for Bell Canada and that I had won a free phone. They tried to get my personal information what kind of plan i had, what company it is currently with as well as credit card information. Once I had told them it was none of their information they hung up. Total scam

Have recieved 3 calls from (780) 747-4049 today! Its the strangest thing.. Glad I found more people here that have had my experience with this weirdo.. Thanks

i live in fort mcmurray ablerta and just got a call from this number (780) 747-4049, not knowing who it was i answered it being a fort mac area code,..it was someone saying they were from bell and they were gonna give me a new upgraded phone....they sounded very believable but then things started to not sound right,..turns out it was just scam.......also got a call from (780) 949-8989 saying a won i trip, asked my age and if i had a valid credit card, i said i didnt have a credit card and they hung up instantly...

This number showed up on my phone when I returned home today. Went in to get the message that they had apparently left me.....but nothing there, just silence....???? Tried calling them back and the line was busy....????  Whoever you are...get a life!
