this number is calling many times a day and i want it stopped now

I get a call from (780) 702-7489 numerous times a week. I never answer and they never leave a message. I do have my number on the national do not call list but they STILL keep calling me. I always figure if it's important they will leave a message but never do. It's getting quite irritating!

OMG  I did not know that this number has made disturbance in so many lives. I receive calls from (780) 702-7489.  When I got to know the number from Alberta, there was an immense pleasure on my face, Hur hurrrrry I got the job because I had taken tests for a position over there.lolzzzzzzzzzzz Upon picking the phone i received no answer. when I try to call them back the phone was busy for long time. Then I came over here and came to know that this number really teases people just for nothing. I request all of you to take some remedial steps (I prefer one that each of us should contact our MPs for the concern) because as there frequent calling teases us we should do the same in response to avoid such kind of things with other Canadians. This number called my house @ 2:05 am.  When I answered there was music playing on the other end.  Like it was pocket dialed.  447404860685 shows as the display above the phone number.The night before last I had a Private number call me at 2:04 am.

I got a call from a woman with an East Indian accent. She said she was calling to let me know that as of today I would not be getting any more telemarketing calls and that I should hang up and wait for another call which would give me a 5-digit code. I asked who she was, because she hadn't introduced herself, and she said she was calling from some department within the "Federal Government of Canada" So I hung up and waited for the next call. But she called back a minute later and sounded surprised that I hadn't received the call. As part of her proposed solution, for whatever had supposedly gone wrong with their system, she asked me for my cell number, to which I said no, she tried again, and I again said no, to which she replied in an irritated voice, "Okay it's up to you!" and hung up on me. Definitely NOT a representative of the Government of Canada. Please DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFO. THEY ARE *NOT* WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE.

Jokers called, asking to change telephone service - first time they called, multiple call times later after, did not answer then a few seconds later they call back with unregd, private number trying you to pick up, its literally a few seconds later. Theyre idiots!I guess people are adding these no. to their telephone block out list -  so thats why they try the private / unregistered number after.For the loosers out there get off your f**ing indian lazy a**es and either (a). Get a job like the rest of us Canadians. or  (b) F***k off back to india!You are doing a great job for country relations!Regards Mr X
