Got a call from this number (780) 702-7489 and he asked for Mrs. xxxx  Had an accent and sounded far away. I asked what it was regarding, he said it is the bank calling about your credit card.   I abruply said "what?" and the line went dead.  I am not in Alberta and my bank is BC only so I know it was some kind of scam.  What, I don't know.

Have recieved several calls from this number. Does not leave any messages and when you answer they hang up?!

I am residing in mississauga, Today i got 3 blank calls from (780) 702-7489 and when searched in google for this number there is a complain record going on this number. So, i wish to notify even i got a call from this number.

A woman with a thick accent told me I had been randomly chosen and won a 7 day vacation to the Bahamas for 2 people.  All she needed was my credit card information to confirm I am at least 18 years of age.... SCAM !

I got a call from this number today. The as***** on the other side introduced him self as someone from the Environmental Department. I thought this is interesting, how can I help you today. I could tell he's not from the Environmental Dept, so he asked me about cleaning the dust and stuff in my house.
I asked him again, what's your name, and where are you calling from again, he said some name and that he's calling from the Environmental Dept, I was what's your Full name, and who do you report to?
He cut the call this ba***** after I asked him that info. I could tell its a scam, and tried to call back but the number is of course busy.
