this call is from alberta in canada they call me about 20 times a day this is a tracking number i dont know why they call but i call the police and they said to call CRTC in canada to make complain the number is 1-+1 866-580-3625 i'm sick of those call i've been call since july 2009

Canadian Government should awake from deep sleep.They are not doing much enough in such matters.People  are simply harrased by such telephone calls.In this technological age, it is not hard to find out culprit/s.Only powerful "will"is required from those who are sitting at the helms of affair.( I mean Ministry of Information).

Got call from the same number twice, with East Euro accent asking if I have any sort of Credit cards like Amex, I demanded who he was, and answered no, he hung up. Be aware and do not be surprised that they say your name without introducing who they are.

Same scenario, spanish or east indian accent, called as an unpublished TN around 1245 Monday May 17.  Launched into a survey about if we recycle, do we have an issue with air pollution, is it smarter to buy with a credit card or not using a credit card, rent or own etc.  I asked them to repeat every question, but they would always deliver them as quickly as they could.  Also offered a possible prize if I verified my TN.  I didn't do that.  Definitely something shady, I have my Telco tracking my TN for any unauthorized service change requests, and will certainly be keeping an eye my accounts for the next few weeks.  I thought it was my mom, or they would have gotten the screening treatment for sure.

So, other than the CRTC, are there any private companies/people out there that will / can look into these type of companies to find out what they're up to before they scam a bunch of people on a large scale?

I don't know if it's a scam or not - but I've found most "780" #s are for donations.  I've stopped answering them.

I got a phone at 1735 EST, it is a guy with EU accent called me. He can tell our last name "May I speak to Mr. X?" then I was muted then he cut the call. The call display is "Motgage". I guess is some credit union or mortgage provider cold calling.

The Canada DNC is like a garbage, I keep receive call for cold calling. I am so disappointed.
