Keep getting a call from this number, didnt even feel my phone vibrate, they have called about 6 time already, someone should get a subpoena on this person and end this phone rage once and for all.

I am in the 416 Area code, was with fido, and now with rogers, they still keep calling me. Seems like a telemarketing scheme.

They call using a computer in other countries showing up as a number located within canada.
there are alot of other sites complaining of these people from skytel/solo. some people reported being threatened by people calling from the number...I get the same person everytime and i always ask him, i thought i said don't call anymore. he replies yes and then continues to sell me stuff. they have called as late as 12am and as many as 5 times in a day. LOL Your  opening 1st line cracked me up. The problem is I never get a full number and that 777 number you cannot call back. We have asked to speak to a supervisor and they refuse to give us a call back number. My husband went and called the number on line for the "real Skytel" and they have no idea about this scam going on. Also they acted as they couldn't give a damn that these scammers are using their name.
Speaking of threatening.. I don't know if you read the posts here but Skytel actually called someone back and got nasty because they told them to stop calling and hung up. It's so hard to track these people down. I have spoken to Rogers , CRTC , DNCL , RCMP etc. All giving great advice but they have no idea how to stop any of it. Each time I would get excited and post how to stop it but the calls restarted a day or so later.
It's one thing to try and scam someone by asking for credit card info but that's not what they want. They want your SIN number along with the rest of your private info. 1 person here got sucked into the scam. The calls still kept coming and they never did receive the product. My favorite was another poster here who when her children answered the phone and she told them that they were 8 and 9 year old's  They said they did not care and they could order it. Really now? Are you kidding me?

Your advice is awesome and I'm happy you were able to stop the collection agency into stop calling you. This on the other hand is a whole other animal .

We got another call today. We have been put on the no call list but that takes up to 30 days to go into effect. Last night I was watching 20/20 and they had on something like we are all going through with the scam calls. Even though the area code may be showing in your area or one you know.....it's not. They are scamming from places like Costa Rico through the pc. They have busted quite a few of people on this but it's an ongoing nightmare. People have lost thousands upon thousands of dollars. These people really make you think that these winnings etc. are legit and they are far from it.The other day after reporting all this to my phone provider they told me to call my local police department which we did to report it. They intern gave us another number to call. It's called Phone Busters. {Sorry no idea where I put the number to post it } Wondering : Whoever started this site was smart to get it known out there about these numbers. You don't have to register on the site so no worries there about getting junk mails. I feel its important to anyone who has any info , numbers or information to let others know. None of us want to fall victim to some scam artist. I hope that helped. :)

yo they just called me not to long ago

I just got the same call from "Tom with SKYTEL calling on behalf of Solo Mobility" I have asked repeatedly to have my number removed. Now they are blocking the incoming number so I don't even have that to log now. But 3 calls in the last 24 hours has just got to stop.
Is there anyone out there that this can be reported to and have something actually happen.
