Call from them today which I didn't pick up. Getting very tired of calls like this as my number is on the national do not call list.

mine too, looks strangely similar to (780) 701-3728, which is Cedar Publishing Corporation. If it is them, they have used almost 20 different numbers over the past four years. I cannot yet confirm, but you aren't the only one this number calls.

Friday Oct 12TH @ 1:17PM got a call from (780) 701-3727.. Not a familiar number so didn't answer it.. Looked strangely familiar to a previous attempt from an organization claiming to be providing advertisement for the "Manitoba Police News Report" A.K.A National Media Publishers Inc Based out of Edmonton, AB. This organization claimed to have placed advertisement in their publication on my behalf (Without my authorization or consent for that matter) and attempted to collect on a $520 invoice for the ad they placed. Turns out this organization, whatever they call themselves has numerous reports with the Canadian department of fraud.

Yes this is Cedar Publishing.  I just got a call from them yesterday.  I was fooled into this scam about 5 years ago thinking it was helping missing kids in BC, when I found out that none of their money goes to any missing kids organizations I stopped advertising with them.

Their staff members are well trained in telesales, and they know all the telesales tricks.  It is a clear sign that this is not a legitimate charity.
