I got a call from this number, it is defiantly a scam, they asked for my credit card information.

My wife received a small envelope in the mail from a Ft. McMurray Alberta address with legible but not the best writing. Inside is a lined piece of yellow paper that says "Dear ____         Hi,        My name is James ToweI would like to          $ Buy$Your house at ____ (our address)Please call me atPh# (780) 628-0499                                               Thanks,                                                     JamesWhen I called the number it went straight to a recorded message asking to wait. Can you say scammer?Do not waste your time if you get a note in the mail.

Just got that call from (780) 628-3860 on MY CELL PHONE. The background was noisy so I didn't know really what he was saying so I hung up. It was like they were calling from a busy mall or something. About 2 minutes later they called back again, I opened my phone and listened for a second and hung up and turned off my phone. Ten minutes later I turned it back on and so far no call from that number. I heard about this call before and it is a scam. They will ask for CC or SIN information. Don't give this out.

I think I'll call anonymously and troll for info, and when I'm done, maybe just *#$# with them a few times

I just received this call on my cell phone, I couldn't hear what they were saying at all. I think I maybe caught 3 words.Lots of noise in the background, lady with an east-Indian like accent.  SCAM.Glad there are sites like this. I googled the number after I hung up.Too easy to fall for scams, unfortunate that some people do, but hopefully we can all be smart about these kinds of things.

I'm continuously receiving calls from this #, but no answer. I got 2 calls from the # 12121212121 on the 9th of april(first time I didn't pick up)...the guy was inquiring about some free phone stuff. He sounded east indian. I said no, and hung up...and now this...who is this dude?
