They're calling frequently in Canada too, a "polling firm" -asking my opinion about the debt crisis. That's pretty broadcast ... different country ... different crises. They ask, in automated voice to vote with keystroke e.g. 1 for participate, 9 to withdraw name from list. I'm very suspicious of this methodology.

why do we receive these calls when we asked to be on a no call list

Phoney political survey that switches to a phoney sales pitch claiming for answering their stupid a** questions they 'reward' you with a phoney 2 day Bahamas cruise which is actually a lame time share scam. These same moron's have also been sued by another company they claimed to be (to trick those they called into answering), there's also a class action lawsuit in process against them, and when they spoofed Caller ID so it said they were from Washington State they stupidly called WA States attorney General's office, they have a fake website set up with so many syntax errors on it as well as a phoney opt out form that serves the same scamming purpose as pressing a number or either answering or calling them back ... to confirm they have a live number and the calls will get worse, these same idiotic moron's also have been calling folks in Canada where any U.S. based poll/survey would be meaningless!
This is NOT a real survey at all (nothing like Gallup, Pew or Rasmussen or any other well known and established polling organization)
This  has NOTHING AT ALL to do with the elections, Obama or the national debt (or either Republican or Democratic Party)
It DOES use robo dialers to make these illegal and harassing calls
It DOES use Caller ID spoofing for malicious purposes
It claims to 'reward' you ... when no legit survey or poll does anything of the sort ... EVER!
It uses the 'survey' ruse to get around the DNC Registry so they can scam you with a phoney cruise that's actually a time share scam
They (like all the other scams) always ask for your credit card #  ... no real survey/poll ever does that
They also use other spoofed numbers that have been used by the home security system scam, the credit card interest rate lowering scam and several others.
But ... I, in advance, already blacklisted this number and countless others they use and may use so all these idiots get is the disconnected number message ...each time ... all numbers! I laugh more each time they try and end up more foolish and idiotic as well as probably more PO'd. I win they lose!
I can see if they try calling by checking the call list, this time ... sure enough this number in red letters appeared there shortly before I posted. Thak God, for services like Google Voice.
These idiots just don't seem to get it that by now we ALL know it's a scam. And if they do ... shows how childishly immature they are by their constant attempt at their harassing calls ... like spoiled rotten children who disn't get their way and end up throwing a temper tantrum!
