This guy called and booked an appointment with me and then didn't show up.

They called me yesterday and told me that they are from "teamview" company. He Claimed  the reason to call is that their server is receiving huge errors from my computer due yo its infection by malicious software. They asked me to run some Basic DOS orders(computer language) and they showed me that my system is slow and in danger because it's license is invalidated secondary to viruses. Then the supervisor told me they the Microsoft company fix it for free and the process is that they refund 285$ to my account and then I pay them back (rebuy) in order the process being complete. All technical conversation seemed legitimate, but during the conversation I got suspicious. It was late here for a company to call so asked them where is your office and she told me in Toronto? I said how is the weather and she replied that she does not know because they do not have access to outside? I was constantly hearing background noise from cars and cyclist who hunted for the horn? It is strange in Canada and it seemed to me that the call was from the middle-east. They were talking like people from India! It took 2 hours and finally, after fixing my computer they asked for credit info. I had to fill the money order page and they asked me if i used this card for international issues before? I used a low credit card and it didn't through. They asked for second card and i did, but I told them that I did not use this card internationally too. During the conversation, there were times that my desktop turn into black and they told me it is a part of fixation. Finally, i called to my bank and i realized that someone was trying to transfer money to "United Arab Emirates"! They tried 3 times and each time different numbers as 300$,500$ and 400$. all failed. I called to other bank and it had the same story, so I asked them to cancel my cards. I returned and checked my laptop and I found the money order page which was filled for the receiver. It was neither Microsoft nor Teamview. It was a person named as Subhas Gopal Chandra. I searched google and i realized that this infamous person was graduated In IT and has knowledge to scam people. They established their office in places that is far from police jurisdiction. Now I understand that during the black time they wiped my documents and files, at least. They call with different names and numbers which are not traceable:(778) 329-0324 and +1 800-709-4041.

I too just received a telephone call from (604) 484-3999, the woman on the other end was making all sorts of accusations against me specifically, yet I had no idea who she was or what she was talking about.  Obviously this misguided female had all her information but had the wrong person.  I simply hung up.  I really wasn't impressed with her violent behaviours.

With regard to anyone getting calls from this number or any other suspicious number, take as much information as you are able to, get them to repeat themselves if you can.  Make sure to note what you can as you are on the call or immediately after the call has ended.  When the call terminates, press *57 which will become a traced call that goes to your provider.  After three times of pressing the *57, the police then become involved to investigating to possibly charging the person(s) involved.

Take care not to be scammed by these type of people.  The only other thing is, is to contact the police directly.

Number that showed up on call display (778) 329-0324 - an Southeast Asian woman with a heavy accent called to say she was from windows - said my computer was downloading a virus - asked me to go to the computer and she can "help" get rid of them. I told her that the person that would be on the computer would not be around - could I call her back. She said to call 209-924-4822 (Landline in California - reverse lookup) I asked her what her name was LISA GEORGE (seriously - with that accent)BEWARE....

We have been receiving fraudulent notices from this company claiming that we owe them money.  PhoneBusters advsor also said these were a scam.  Beware! Don't send them any money and don't believe them when they say they are going to send you to collections.

saw this # come up on my call display while I was on a call. Called it back 20 min later, and # was no loger in service. Thought that was weird, so I googled it. Turns out it's suspect.   (778) 329-0324 anonymous

Called my own cell phone from Skype (to pick up voicemail without using minutes) and this is the number shown.
