I did what the guy up top said and called Cranberry Resorts asked my number be removed from the list and it worked.  Give him a ear full before you hang up though.

Ok I work in the financial services sector and this is what I have heard: On September 30, 2008 the Federal government, through the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), will implement the National Do Not Call List (DNCL). This legislation allows Canadians to register their telephone numbers on a list that will prevent companies from making unsolicited telemarketing calls selling various products and services. For more information visit the CRTC website at www.crtc.gc.ca. So will this take care of the infamous 1-(705) 444-2886? Not sure but hope this info is helpful!

Each day for the last 4 days we have recieved calls from this number.  We answer and get nothing.  We call back and it says the number has been disconnected.  We call the operator and they say they cant do anything.  I've looked it up and it says that its a land line in Collingwood service provider is Bell Canada but when I look it up through Bell Canada it says again that its been disconnected.  I also looked up that Cranberry Resort but the phone numbers do not match the 444 numbers.

they keep calling over and over again and it is really annoying. no one ever talks and there is no way to call back and tell them to stop calling

as the phone can act as a tap and they will be able to hear through the microphone of the phone
