Just got a call but didn't pick up because of the different area code. Also from Vancouver and am a Rogers customer.

Just got a call - didn't answer - I'm on telus pay and talk - I didn't answer because I'm cheap - 25cents to recieve the call :-)      (Vancouver BTW)

received a phone call from (647) 925-9988 to my cell phone; after 9 pm ESTmiss call - they did not left a message.

This is an overseas number. I did some research and it appears to be coming from some call centre in the Philippines. I ended up speaking to them and telling them to remove my number. They called me twice a day and I finally answered. But since then they haven't called back so maybe try talking-to them and telling them to take u off their list might help. I just don't appreciate my cellular provider giving out my number to solicitors. But there's nothing I can do about it, telemarketing companies purchase a list of phone numbers from the networks thrid party and uses it to harass people like us, blah!
