This number is assigned to YAK Communications based out of Canada.  Their usage policy clearly states that they will terminate a number if,  "use the Services contrary to law, public policy, decency standards (including but not limited to regulatory pronouncements on issues such as Automatic Dialing-Announcing Devices and unsolicited live voice and fax calls), or any usage policies instituted from time to time by Yak; charge or allow others to charge any other person for the use of the Service without Yak's prior written agreement; alter or otherwise interfere with Yak's facilities, equipment, network or connections or use the Services in a prohibited, unlawful, or improper manner, including but not limited to, permitting fraudulent use."This phone number is obviously being used for fraudulent purposes.  Write YAK at www.yak.ca and report the number to them.

Got a message that I won a trip if I was a valued Costco member when I asked how he got my number he hung up

had a missed call from this number this morning (Vancouver time) It was from      + 1-(647) 925-9988.
64 is new zealand and 07 area code is in the north island. So could be nz. Telecom is their phone company. bizarre

Just received a call from this number on my Koodo cell.  I have caller ID & don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize--- especially area codes outside mine.  Then I check this site.  I was right again not to answer according to all your posts here about this phone number.  Thanks everyone for helping with this one and all past unsolicited calls.

I got a call from this same number (647) 925-9988. I am a rogers user (blackberry). I didn't answer but am pretty sure its not CIBC Visa as I've never been with them. HOWEVER this is only a 5 month old phone number. It is a Toronto/Ontario number -- won't answer again. It's prob one of those scam calls -- i'm sick of it!
