Same as above.  Called the number (*67 first of course)They don't even give you a choice to "stay on the line for a real person" type choice.  press 1 to reactivate or disconnect. message "Dear Credit Union customer, we regret to inform you that we had to lock your bank account access.  Call (647) 827-2796 to restore your bank account."  Who are these people.  Looks like it started up on 2/1/09.

I also received a text message from this number.  Asking me to call the number regarding my credit union account.  I don't have an account with a credit union.  Total. Scam.

I just received the same thing, originating from "8877" clearly a scam, why would they send a text message. I am going to report them to my local police authority.

Yes, I got this as a text also:" Dear Credit union customer, we regret to inform you that he had to lock your bank account access. Call (647) 827-2796 to restore your bank account."
