I've actually answered the phone a couple of times and there is absolutely nobody there ~ dead silence.

Called my house everyday around dinner time, sometimes twice a day!! I never pick up, but sure ignoring!!

if the government were thinking of the majority of people in this country they would stop these types of phone calls

I called the number back and there was a recording that said "You were called to participate in a survey and now the survey time has expired.  Thank you."
Funny how it expired 15 seconds after they had called me.   I wish these calls were illegal and the companies making them were traced and prosecuted and hammered with huge fines.

This number has been calling for the last three days, whenever I answer some recorded voice says: "You have been chosen, bla, bla, bla, for a political survey".I've tried hanging up, I've tried yelling to leave me alone, the voice just keep talking.One year ago I put my phone number on that special list not to be bothered by these fools, but it seems it does not make a difference.  The government passes all kinds of laws to make us pay more for everything, but never passes any law so these crooks will leave honest tax payers alone.

They called me the same time 8:03AM for the last 3 days. I wish the government would do something to stop this.

That's what I do...If the phone rings and I answer and there's nobody at the end for more than 2 seconds, I hang up. 99.9% of the times, it's a computer call or telemarketer...Try it... Hello, one, two, click. If someone calls you, they will say something as soon as you say Hello... If not, click...    ?    I also received a call from (647) 725-2914... Is it me or aren't those numbers similar??Like I said before... If you unfortunately answer one of these calls, hang up if nobody talk after 1 or 2 seconds.Furthermore, if you get a call from an unknown number, don't answer and let it go to your voicemail. If it's a legit call, they will leave a message. Otherwise, don't bother to call back... it's surely a scam.Many people cause trouble for themselves by not doing what I just wrote. Telemarketers and scammers DO NOT leave messages. Remember... look at your caller ID... Don't know the number or it says unknown or private etc, do not answer and let it go to voicemail. Then, block these numbers on your phones.

this stupid phone number has been calling me for DAYS now, and when i answer the phone there is nobody there, and when i call back it doesn't give me the option to block them or talk to anybody...it just says the number i am calling is unavailable. wtf! stop calling me!!!
