If you don't have a clear picture of what you are trying to prove please don't try. You think you are too smart, and have the right to make comments on other people. If you think you are too smart then why did you answer the call in the first place? Get a life and try to get busy with something productive.

I recieved a call today from a chap who said his name was james king from liberty international finance group, I live in the uk and the number he used was 0203 3558892, he claimed  they could lower the interest rate on my visa card to 3 %.He had very strong eastern accent which i found hard to understand and instinct told me to research this company before going any further and im glad i did as by reading all the other posts on here it would seem that this is a huge scam! Never give out personal card details unless you know excactly who you are dealing with.

Got this call at 9 am eastern time in Canada. I did not answer but I searched and founf many people have been contacted. I'll cut and paste one comment:Liberty International Financial Grouplowering interest ratesWe are on Canada's National Do Not Call list.  Had a chat with a gentleman, who obviously was not from Canada, explaining how the DNC list applies to all companies worldwide.  He apologized.I filed a complaint with the CRTC here.https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-engYou may with to do the same.

fraud! she did not have my financial information and pretended that i was making a minimum payment. from "Liberty Financial". she hung up me too for no reason.

Oct 20th 6:50 pm received a phone call (UNKNOWN CALLER)from a man with a very thick accent, who said he was calling from Liberty International in Markham Ontario with a program called FFN - which is supposed to be Financial Freedom something- talked about lowering my interest rates on my cards(3%)no fees -Lifetime rates) - any and all of them - said he was calling on behalf of the credit card companies - I was a valued customer etc. First he asked me if I had credit cards. (Suspicious) He made a point of giving me his name, telling me to write it down - (Eric Wilson) and this bogus phone # with his extension # -said he had to verify my information to see how much I could "save". Then he passed me on to someone to "verify" me information. I was having some fun with the call. The girl who came on the phone gave her name as "Shane" and the ph # and ext again and asked to verify some info -again wanted me to verify my card # I told her to read it to me to verify. I also said I would hang up and call her back - she played it cool and said yes I can do that but I should just stay on and verify my card. I dialed the number from a separate line, and heard only a busy signal. I told her this and she took the next opportunity to get off the phone.
After hanging up, I searched the number on Canada 411.

I live in England , I got a call from a London number 0203 3558892 a man with a faint accent. Claimed he was from a company called Liberty International Financial Group, said they could lower my interest rate to 3.9% by talking to my creditcard company on my behalf.

I asked why should my lender do that just because he asked them to. He talked nonsense until I told him he was wasting my time. I was passed to someone else who gave me some speil about their close ties to lenders who would negotiate rather than lose my custom.

I was passed back to the first guy who said his name was Chris Wood. He confirmed my name and address then asked for the 7 digits on the back of my card. I said no, told him he was crazy and hung up.



He rang back, I told him i'd found out his company was a scam and not to call me again.
