it is MBNA promo. Do not answer.

same here. I set our answering machine to 2 rings, and pick up only people with ID whom I know. Too bad if someone unknown really needs to talk with me. I work from home and have to give out my cell as contact number, and even so, for them to TEXT me. Because my cell receives  some calls for which i have to pay $2 each, even if I do not talk !  Hve been told to text them with the word 'stop'. But until then I already paid $ 14  that month.

Just got a call from this number.  Someone asked for me by name -- said they were MBNA and wanted to know if there was an apartment number where i live.  Before I could answer, they hung up.My guess is they`re a company contracted to make promo calls for MBNA who get a certain amount just for making contact with people on a list... but they don't bother with the promo; they just take the money for making contact.

I have gotten this call twice in the last week but haven't picked up. How did they get my number? and how do i stop them from calling? I don't even know what MBNA is
