After 10 days of getting harassing calls I ended up using a high pitched emergency siren placed on the phone receiver. This took approx 3 days before they got the hint.I made countless inquiries and it seems that since the call originates from a foreign country phone number there are no USA FTC regulations in place to stop this harassment. I even tried entering my phone number onto the Canadian Do Not Call list. This was fruitless since we do not live there.This yet another attempt by spammers to avoid the US FTC policies and regulations.They got caught using land lines moved onto cell phone usage and got caught.Now they have resorted to using foreign country phone numbers.As one poster mentioned I entered the number in my cell phone contacts and place the ring tone setting to 'no ring'.

They called every hour and so I finally took call.  Offered $100 gift card, had last 4 digits of Mastercard.  Said I wasn't interested.  Called again 7:00 a.m.!!!!!  I listened (shouldn't have!).  Wanted me to verify name, address.  I did because I figured they had that anyway.  Then wanted an e-mail to send confirmation to.  I told them I didn't want to give them e-mail.  She said just give an old one.... so I made one up.  Then she asked if I wanted trip to Bahamas.... I said NO!  and hung up.

These people called my home 12-13 times in 5 days.  They were told multiple times, nicely, do not call me, I am not interested.  They call themselves Global Rewards, offering a $100 gift card just for using your Visa card.  They have the last 4 digits, name and address.  The three people I got names for were, Nicole Davis, April Davis and supervisor, Tiffany Martinez, (all had very thick accents), definitely agree that the names don't match the voices...  After I spoke with the "supervisor" and told her she was leaving me no choice except to report them to the local police, they haven't called back, yet.  I also notified my bank of their harassment, and the bank reassured me that it was not their policy to solicit their customers.  Don't put up with these people!   And definitely don't give them any information.   Caller ID says Denbigh, ON.

call received  and person said i had a hundred gift card coming. when i asked why i was being given this money, thay stated it was because i was a good user of my credit card. thay had read off the last four digets and had my name correct. i was than asked for a email address to complete the trans action. i did not comply and ended the phone call. the women had a foreign accent.

Kept getting calls from (613) 333-3456 and another number from New York.  Same people and scam.  Female with thick Indian accent had the last 4 digits of my credit card and said they wanted to give me a $100 gift card for using my credit card.  I stopped her mid-sentence and told her that was my Father and he had died in a car accident the night before.  Haven't had a call from them since.  A friend who also was getting calls from them started answering the phone, FBI, how can I direct your call.  So far he hasn't received any more calls either.

We're just started receiving this call today and when "googled" it we found out all the complaints. Regrettably, donot.call.gov, doesn't take the complain since the Area Code is not from USA.
We have to accuse them to the CAN authorities to trace them overthere...
