I got a call from this number at 1:35 in the morning and woke me up from the best sleep I've had in days. Curse you whoever you are at (613) 230-2890. Its listed as an Ottawa number, maybe another robo call from all the dishonest lying politicians in Ottawa.

Called me but as i always do with any number that calls me and is unknwn to me, I simply did not answer and they left no voicemail. Because if ur an idiot and pick up a telemarketer call, they are allowed to call you whenever they want in the future. and of course im not even gonna let them kno my number is a working number with me on this end of the call. so for all of u that do pick up calls, if u do not want telemarketers to call you, simply screen all ur phonecalls and let people leave you a voicemail. And NEVER EVER call them back to find out who they are. You can do that on the internet with a simple google search. calling them back also gives them. a right to call you back in the future and none of us want that! First telemarketer company to call my phone in years! or survey company or whatever it is. dont kno nd dont care...

They keep harassing my 90 year old mother day and night. KNOCK IT OFF UR BLOCKED

I just tell them "just a minute", I put the phone on the table and I go away.

Just block the number. real easy if you have Vonage.

I received a call from this number asking for the youngest male in the household over 18 to discuss his political concerns. I told them they had reached a cell phone, not a household, and I did not wish to discuss that with them. And I hung up. Then it dawned on me to call back and ask to have my number removed from their call list. I called back and the message said to call (613) 230-9109 if I had questions or concerns so I did. I got transferred to someone who took my number and said she would have it removed from the list. If I get another call from (613) 230-2890 I'll know she was not being straight with me.

If this is a political Survey in Ontario -- why are they calling Nevada?  Scammers are definitely getting more stupid each year.  As for being on DNC list -- crooks do not abide by legal things remember.  They are out to steal.  If this is political for Canada, it has nothing to do with Nevada.  From what I see here, this group has been calling for a very long time.  Maybe they are legitimate, but that is doubtful since they do not have any information they leave, just call and hang up.  Please remind the elderly and impaired:  Do NOT talk with any of these people who call.  If you do it invites more calls for one thing -- and they can sell your phone to others because it is a real number.  Is that what you want?  And that is only the annoying part.  If they are peole wanting to scam others out of money, answering the call only sets you up for that.  Remember:  crooks do not care about government laws.  

FOUR calls from (613) 230-2890!!  We did not pick up but definitely some kind of telemarketer. Never leaves a message. So annoying!In googling the number, information on the net says (613) 230-2890 originates with BELL CANADA.That figures.
