received an unknown call from 011 60 4 9955 000.
They tried to pass it of as long distance.
Ignored the call.

just received numerous calls from this number and called it back and a msg said that it was a un assigned number and hung up

Got a call from +60 4 995 5000 on my cellular. "Thank you being a TELUS customer. Press 1 for a special travel offer". Yeah right I'm going to press 1, probably would get connected to a pay per minute phone number in Africa.

Called me 5 times every 30 seconds

Got 2 callsl From this number 1st call had 011 604 -995-5000 next was just 604 -995-5000 without the country code in front of it. Googled the number and posted on this forum. Good luck to whomever presses one I wish I could find out without the fear of being defrauded.

Recorded message: "Congratulations!" Hung up immediately.Call was to my cell.

Said they were Telus this time. Reply goes to busy signal

Got a call from (604) 995-5000 on my cell. Said it was AirMiles with a promotion. AirMiles doesn't have this # so I asked them if they were calling. They reported they had no offers. Called Back the 995-5000 number - no answer. My guess is a scam of some type. Glad I checked it out.

Got a call from 604 -995-5000.  Recorded message.  Essentially saying I've won a WESTJET airliner prize; to claim press 1 etc.   I tried automatic dial -back but all the time got a Telus message saying this phone is NOT in service??!  Very suspicious.  But what is the use of reporting all such flagrant misuse of telemarketing techniques is there's no effective way of stopping it!
