Claimed to be from BC Children's Hospital asking for a donation.

A woman claiming to be from BC Cancer Foundation, wanting my banking information to update my donation. I asked for a number so I could call back with the information but she said she would call back. She gave some legitimate information which alarmed me but I did not give my banking info - she was quite persistent.

Claiming she is calling from St Paul Hospital, I told her I’m very busy and asked her to send me all the information, then she said will call me back, should be a scam and blocked the number!

I didn't answer

They id themselves as the NDP.. Probably fundraising.

These idiots keep phoning.  I won't pick up.

After about 10 calls from this number over the last few months, I finally stayed on the line for a few seconds instead of hanging up when there is no one there. It IS apparently , the NDP fundraising and/ or soliciting memberships.I told him how annoying it Has been .. since I do support NDP and have been hanging up on them.What I guess it that some telemarketing calls are dialed by computer and only respond with a live voice if someone does NOT hang up.. Pretty inefficient way to contact  people I'd say. I wonder how many people HAVE reported them.

Getting 4 or 5 calls a day for the past 3 days. On the few times that I answer there's nobody on the line.

Strategic Communications is a very nice company that raises funds for many non-profits. They have many clients, so they could be calling about any one of them.
