I knew about this scam a while ago and I played with him for a bit. He got mad and called me poor.

This lady(sounded like from India)called and said there was something wrong with my computer. I said this is impossible and they hung up.

this guy called me and booked an appointment with me and then didn't show up.

I have received a number of calls from this number over a short period of time, I think it is crank calls,my voice mail shows up as if I have a message but nothing, a minute later a number of calls from a vancouver # 929-2611  or 10 not sure if it is an automatic dialling scheme,maybe two numbers are connected I don't know. I didn't want to answer as I didn't recognize numbers.

It can Actually be anyone, as it is a number assigned via a calling card..

You know those 10 dollar cards you get at conveniance stores to call england or what ever.. that's the number that will show up. You can not call it back as it is a not a registered number but merely a substitute so your phone is not charged.

i have been getting phone calls from this number several times, almost everyday. never leave any message. sometimes they will use different numbers with same 604 area code, again they don't leave any message. BEWARE....

just noticed this number on my missed call log, and was wondering if anyone knew who it was.  Since I have read all this info, I will be careful not to answer the phone.

Just received three calls on my iPhone which displays an odd number every time I get a VOIP call.  We use Skype at work so I'm used to getting the 123-456-7891 number or something with a bunch of zeros.  I let the phone ring to voicemail, not being able to answer it.  Shortly after I received my standard missed call text with the (604) 678-9476.  I Googled the number and came here.

I agree with the others, this call definitely originates from VOIP possibly out of Province (BC).

same thing. called it back once and they said it was disconnected.is there someone we can report this to? police?now when i try to call it back... nothing happens. cell phone just doesn't dial. and returns to home screen. tried on 2 phones with same result.
