I knew about this scam a while ago and I played with him for a bit. He got mad and called me poor.

This lady(sounded like from India)called and said there was something wrong with my computer. I said this is impossible and they hung up.

this guy called me and booked an appointment with me and then didn't show up.

Took the call from this number three days ago. The broken English had me stumped for a while until he asked me to go and turn my computer on for "Reported problems and needed corrections". I asked at this point to know who he was and his firm.

Answer: We are everywhere, I am calling from here in Canada, everywhere.

Tried to tell me he was calling from MS Windows and my PC was giving off a signal that there was some trojan virus and if I was near my PC I should turn it ON and they can walk me through repairing the virus. Duhh if my computer is giving off some signal would they not know if it's even turned on? Anyway what a pile of crap. Should be reported to police but there is no way to track these people.This number must be a trunk line, seems to be used by various idiots trying to get money from who ever answers on the other end.

SCAM!!!

An East Indian female with very poor English called saying she was from Bell and they had changed my phone number to my cell number......I dont deal iwth Bell. She hung up...I called bakc and it was busy....

Got a missed call from this number and then another a minute later from a private number. It's great that I can google a number and find out that there are scam artists trying to take my identity!!!I got another one a while back trying to do the same thing!!! Be careful don't ever give out your details there are too many scams out there

Just received three calls on my iPhone which displays an odd number every time I get a VOIP call.  We use Skype at work so I'm used to getting the 123-456-7891 number or something with a bunch of zeros.  I let the phone ring to voicemail, not being able to answer it.  Shortly after I received my standard missed call text with the (604) 678-9476.  I Googled the number and came here.I agree with the others, this call definitely originates from VOIP possibly out of Province (BC).
