Try using BLOCK Calls--How to block the ruddy calls---*60-then-#key (Tel#of call to block), then #key again-press 1 or 3 to activate. It usually works for me.
(2)--Don't hang up---press*60, then stay on line , an operator should come on the line
Tell the person "I want to BLOCK THE LAST NUMBER", then press 01 +the number. This came from Telus , tome. Good Luck

Credit card a**hole!

Getting sick and tired of my phone number being dispensed like pez. I paid for an unlisted number to avoid and evade this BS. Identity theft is so rampant nowadays and you are constantly being warned to protect your personal information. Yet every time you turn around someone is asking for your home phone number or address, why? The last time I went for an oil change the service technician asked me for a hockey sock full of of information. I refused and asked him why it was even necessary? He said it was for tracking and records etc. I basically told him to change the damn oil, take my money and be done with this transaction. With regards to tracking, just put the stupid plastic sticker on the inner top left corner of my windshield and I'll keep track myself. Seriously, it's such a simple transaction yet it seems like you're signing a damn mortgage contract. Enough already. I'm done here. Thanks for the opportunity to rant. Stay classy.

Talk about killing peoples is worse than the scammers themselves. Nut job.

Call annnoying won't connect to supervisor, can't call back to me remove or speak to someone. No such number is the answer. Ask to be remove and still calling. Please leave me alone I carry no balance on my credits ever!!!

call from this number claimed to be Card Services, working on behalf of all major Canadian banks. Caller said name was Maxwell. There were other voices in the background. Very obstinate caller, would not connect me to supervisor. My bank says they do not hire such a company for their credit cards. SCAM alert!

Returned phone call to be told by a recorded voice that the number is not in service

It started with the usual "this is your last chance to get a reduction in your credit card interest rate."  This is the thirteenth "last chance" I have received.I tried to find out who he was representing, but he would just say Mastercharge and that he was calling from Victoria, BC. (He had a thick south Asian accent and a lot of voices in the background) I strung him along with a phony credit card number, trying to get info about them. He said he was going to check my balance and while he was doing that, I hung up. He called back from (306) 236-2689 (Saskatchewan). My wife answered and he asked for me and said he was from Capital One. She said I had just gone out. He said "I know he's there, so stop wasting my time." She said "you're wasting my time" and he said "F*** you bi***" and hung up.   WARNING: I have seen elsewhere that if you give him your real credit card number they will make an immediate $1,900 charge.

Receive about 3 calls per week from this number.  Decided to press 1 to tell them to remove me from their callers list. The degenerate woman was a total bi***.  Asked me what I was going to do about it when I told her that as I am registered on the do not call list she shouldn't be calling.  I told her I'd report her.  She responded with "good luck with that".  I asked to speak to her manager and she laughed.  Definately a scam.  Don't answer, or better yet, answer and scream or blow a whistle into the phone when a human picks it up.

These are definitely scammers. Don't answer or just hang up.

I received a call today from this number 1-(604) 432-7283 asking if I would like to lower my credit card debt. Last warning!!! I hung up. Who is behind these unwanted calls? Is there a way to block them on a shaw telephone account?

Just called here - did not pick up.
