Try using BLOCK Calls--How to block the ruddy calls---*60-then-#key (Tel#of call to block), then #key again-press 1 or 3 to activate. It usually works for me.
(2)--Don't hang up---press*60, then stay on line , an operator should come on the line
Tell the person "I want to BLOCK THE LAST NUMBER", then press 01 +the number. This came from Telus , tome. Good Luck

Credit card a**hole!

Getting sick and tired of my phone number being dispensed like pez. I paid for an unlisted number to avoid and evade this BS. Identity theft is so rampant nowadays and you are constantly being warned to protect your personal information. Yet every time you turn around someone is asking for your home phone number or address, why? The last time I went for an oil change the service technician asked me for a hockey sock full of of information. I refused and asked him why it was even necessary? He said it was for tracking and records etc. I basically told him to change the damn oil, take my money and be done with this transaction. With regards to tracking, just put the stupid plastic sticker on the inner top left corner of my windshield and I'll keep track myself. Seriously, it's such a simple transaction yet it seems like you're signing a damn mortgage contract. Enough already. I'm done here. Thanks for the opportunity to rant. Stay classy.

Call annnoying won't connect to supervisor, can't call back to me remove or speak to someone. No such number is the answer. Ask to be remove and still calling. Please leave me alone I carry no balance on my credits ever!!!

call from this number claimed to be Card Services, working on behalf of all major Canadian banks. Caller said name was Maxwell. There were other voices in the background. Very obstinate caller, would not connect me to supervisor. My bank says they do not hire such a company for their credit cards. SCAM alert!

Returned phone call to be told by a recorded voice that the number is not in service

Out of sheer curiosity, I took the call to press #2 to discontinue the notices since this was my "last" notice.  Of course, the recording said, "You have made an invalid entry" so, I pressed #1.  The dope on the other end of the phone greeted me politely and when I asked why my choice was invalid, he claimed not to know and that it was important about my credit card.  I asked him what credit card I have (I don't have any!) and he told me I had a Visa.  I told him he was full of sh*t and the rest is not meant to be shared on here.  Needless to say, he was speechless and I hung up on him.

This number calls like 4x a week. When ask to stop calling us they hung up and calls again the next day.How can we stop this. I registered my number long time ago in the Do Not Call List. I still received tons of calls.

just called kingston -- recorded message about my credit, then a transfer to someone. when i said "please let me speak to your supervisor" they hung up.

Received call and let it go to voicemail with no message being left.

Man, what a day for telecrap.  Six calls today, and not one caller had the guts to leave their name on the voice mail.  Losers.  They need to be fined or shut down, simple as that.
