Even if you were to try calling the number back you would not have gotten anywhere. It will not connect to anything. What kills me is they don't want your credit card number they want your SIN number along with the rest of your personal info. This is past a regular scam we are all dealing with here.

Me- I would call your local police and report it as well as Phone Busters. That was what I was told to do. That freaks me out that it said they were going to kill you. Your being threatened !
The call is not coming from a  London cell. The way they do this is from a pc in other countries. You think it's a call from an area code you know. The numbers when you call back are always out of service..of course they are. They are coming from Costa Rico etc.

Mary- It's not Solo..they would never treat their costumers that way by calling constantly. It's part of the scam going on. They are known to take names of companies you know , heard of or use and try and scam you into giving out your personal and credit card info.

The more people call their local police department and phone busters the faster they can work on tracking this down. In the meanwhile put a call block on your phone to stop whats coming in. They are relentless making several calls a day.
My calls finally have stopped thanks to the block.

Here is how to fix these bastards. First play along with them and see if you can get a real phone number.  Go on the internet and get yourself a auto dialer program. Then go and buy a Magicjack device whic will cost about $40.00 including one year of free service across north america. Hook the thing up and star auto dialing the number you have received. If you cannot get their number then go to the Sky Tel website and get their number and just start calling them. I did this recently to a collection agency who insisted on call me and after a couple of days getting my continuous calls I called back and told them they had a choice,,stop calling me or I would continue to call them. It workedBottom line you must be a vicious and bad as they are. By the way I checked with the CRTC and it is ok to autodial a number as long as you do not threaten anyone with the call or you are not a telmarketer !!Have fun !!!

They claim they are from bell, but when i noticed it was fishy (the noise in the background, the unprofessionalism, and just shadiness in general) i called bell. They told me that unless it comes from their number, it is not bell. They told me that this was a scam. They are trying to get your personal info under the pretense of giving you a phone. Don't fall for it.

They just called me telling me I owed Bell 200.00$.  Well I have been with Primus 5 yrs now. Never owed Bell a cent in my life.  When I said I was calling the police he hung up.It came in as (519) 777-6667:  Seniors beware!
