Just got a call but complete silence and hung up

The following is an hypothesis:

If you received a call from (416) 907-0582,
an talked without hearing any voice (hello would suffice), then you will likely to receive another call in the next 15 minutes from a local phone number with a further marketing call this time an actual person talks to you.

I wonder if one don't talk without hearing any voice, would the number (416) 907-0582) keep calling?

Yes the indian man told me he is life insurance i told him no thanxs.then ask me about my husband then changehis # i was going to call the cops on him.

I received a call from this number... claimed to be from BELL..and wanted to sell me s***.. i strung them along for abit .. then asked if i could call them right back.. he said i couldnt..  I said thats because youre a f'n scam artist...  and hung up.. if you stay on they will try to get your credit card info to rip you off... (Accent from India)

Bell Canada offering a free Samsung Link cell phone with a $25 plan - Likely from an overseas call centre - The guy didn't know what I meant when I asked what time "evenings" started at . Very pushy.

I answer phone and there is nobody on the other end again!

Today, for the first time I received this phone call, like others have said, an indian male accent. I could even barely recognize my last name that he said, I asked him to spell it. Well, he claimed he was calling from RBC life insurance and asked for 15 mins of my time (the other 3 sentences that he said before and in between that...I didn't understand b/c of his strong accent). Even if I were desparate for life insur. I wouldn't even buy it off from this guy...really since when RBC hire non-fluent English rep to represent their products?puzzling it together, it seems like these guys have their whole family call ppl and claim that they represent the big companies and get ppl's personal info. I told him that I am not interested and pls remove my # from ur calling list. It is illegal for them to call again if you tell them don't call and remove ur #.

Happens all the time from this number, no one on the other end...pretty weird
