Within the past 2 hours (Oct. 21 4-5 pm) we received 6 calls from this phone number (416) 800-3377 "Air Duct Cleaning"  And at least 10 calls on occassiins prior to this.The first call was a recording.  When I picked up the phone all I heard was good-bye.  (I have had many calls in the past from this phone number ----- We are an Air Duct Cleaning Co and we are in your neighbourhood.   This person (Pakistan) you cannot  insult him. After receiving the call I redialed the number on my phone.   I asked the Pakistan why he was calling my phone number and then the speel....We are a duct cleaning co. and we are on your street. In No certain words I told him exactly where to go and I said don't ever call here again and I hung up.He called back 5 times....this time I let my husband do the talking. My husband was told  by this person  that he has the right to call us (even though we told him we are on the no-call list) and that he received permission from the GTA Homeservice (Co. doesn't exist).   He also stated that the Canadian Government Health Department gave him permission.   He told us to check out his website.   My husband told him that no such companies exist and that we are on the no-call list and stop calling.   We also heard a lot of noise in the background and it sounded like an office with a lot of people in it. If anyone knows a way of reporting this person in order to stop the calls, please let us know.

Called at least once today.  No response when picked up.  Very annoying.

They also called me. They stated they and a Duct Cleaning Service and 'have a great promotion' today! I could hear a lot of chatter in background, like in a Call-Centre.

I've argued with these guys twice now.  A guy with a Pakistani accent says his name is Brad, asks me if I own my home and if I've had an alarm system for more than three years.  I ask him why he's calling, he says he's from (blah) alarm company and says I'm eligible to get three months' free service and discounts on my homeowner insurance.  I ask him if he's from MY alarm company.  I ask him if he's from the government.  No, he's from (blah blah) and wants to offer me three months free.  Are you trying to sell me something?  No, certainly not!  Well then, why do you sound so much like a frigging telemarketer?  ARGH!  You really can't get answers from these guys.  Ask them where they got your name, number, and address--it's on their 'database'.  Good luck trying to get them to tell you how exactly they got this database info.  I demanded they remove my info from their freaking database and never, ever call me again.  I managed to get an apology from them.  Not that it's going to do me much good--I had the same conversation with them last month.

Received a new caller  Nov. 3/2011 at 8:41 a.m.
The number the call came from was 1-760-705-8888  (IT?? Computer Co.)
The person calling, is the same person who called me from
(416) 800-3377 AIR DUCT CLEANING
This time he was calling for my computer.   He introduced himself as Craig ???  (with and east Indian accent)
He said he was from IT?? computer company and he wanted to know if our computer was working OK.  He rambled on and I hung the phone up on him.  

There is no doubt whatsoever he is the same person.   You can hear the office noise in the background.
