SCAM, pretending to be Scotiabank.REPORT TO AUTHORITIES.

`so someone has  gotten my  number  and name. interesting being i dont have a scotia credit card.  but i did  happen to apply for a company that does surveys .  and have only used this number for  call backs.  wonder if it has something to  with this company.

I got called from this number too about 3 weeks ago and promoting something,but i turned them down, and today i got called again and i never pick up the phone cuz i think they just want to make money out of us

Called me at 7:40 pm.  Told me that I've been approved for a 10,000 credit card!  awesome!  yeah, right.  ok, so I don't even bank with scotia bank, did years ago in college, but not anymore.  And to top it off, they called my cell phone.  an UNLISTED number.  They wanted to ask a few questions to get my information so they could send the card out.  right.  I'm gonna give that info out.  If I have been approved, they should have that damned information.  So when I said no, I got a lovely dial tone in my ear.  It's gotta be a scam.

On  Monday, April 26, 2010, @ 10:38 a.m., my CELL showed a missed call from (416) 750-6018.  I checked the # and found this website.  When I called the # using *67 from my HOME PHONE, the announcement said that I had reached Socia Bank which had called me  "...  recently and gotten no answer. We may call you again."  I have no, and have never had dealings with Socia Bank.  Sounds fishy to me!

It is legit scotiabank number. Confirmed. Relax and stop scary ppl with nonsense bs comments. Its so uncool...
