Fraud on my scotia visa

It was Scotiabank wanting to verify some purchases I made with my company credit card. Called the number they left (1-800--813-6602) and spoke with a representative.

Scotiabank called me to confirm my internac online transaction and i called them and this guy hung up on me and called again and it is from Scotiabank

It was Scotia telling me to activate my new debit card with the chip in it.

Concerning phone # 1 (416) 750-6018I know for certain that this is Scotia Bank. Call your local Scotia Bank branch, you should verify and ask your local bank that you deal with to clarify what this call is about.  I have dealt with a Scotia Bank representative at this number when I answered this number. If you call back 1 (416) 750-6018 , you will just get a Scotia Bank recording. I am a customer of Scotia Bank too.

I got a call from this number yesterday and today. My voicemail is full so I dont know what the message could have been. But the suspicious activity idea sounds reasonable, because I've been transferring all my money to BMO.:)
