Hi everybody,Please note that newspapers and the telemarketers making calls on their behalf are exempted from the Canadian Do Not Call List.  If you want them to stop calling you, you have to call the newspaper and ask to be put on their internal do not call list.Only after you have requested that they put you on their do not call list (make sure that you record the date and time that you made the request) that you can report unwanted calls.  I'm pretty sure that you have to give them a few days to get your number on their DNC list, but after that, make sure that you keep a record of the dates and times that calls are received so that you can file a complaint.

I receive about 4 call per day - every day from these idiots. They start at about 8:30 Am and the latest was about 9:45 PM. When you pick up, no one is there.  I have called them to have my number removed - still getting calls after 7 months.

internal call list you say?perhaps you mean infernal call list!did you know canada's largest chain of newspapers now contracts its call centre to the dominican republic?

Get called at least once a week.Unfortunately, newspapers sre on of the exempt parties from the donot call list.
