This number has called my home phone daily for weeks and different times early in the morning to late afternoon (so far). They never leave a message when the answering machine picks up. ?According to 411.ca the number is a landline in Toronto, Ontario. The registered service provider for this phone line is GT Group Telecom Services Corp. There is no further detailed information about this number that I could find.

They called me.  Supposedly about Toronto Police Widow and Orphans.  The caller (with a fake southern accent) tells me he's helped "thousands" of people by getting donations.  Ok, so I check - 38 Toronto officers have been killed in the line of duty from 1901 - 2002.  So by his logic, that would mean each officer had approximately 30 children, each.  Ok.  And anyway, a pension and insurance should provide for slain officer's families.

These people are liars, and stupid.
