This is a scam saying we won $3000 and please press "1"

this number has called my office several times.  A recording tells me I have won 3000 reward points and to dial 1 to accept.
Because we have 4 lines this happens often.

This is a scammer! Phoned me today - caller ID said it was coming from Ontario ( phone # (416) 572-9989) claiming I won 100 000 Airmiles and to press 1 to accept. I hung up and then tried to phone back to see where I end up, the Telus automated message said I called a number that isn't in use! How can it then come up on my call display, and WHY is no one doing anything to catch these fraudsters!!! I also regularly get random calls from everywhere about switching over my Credit card and getting lower interest. I never respond, the calls keep coming! People should start refusing to give out ANY info over the phone, even to "charities", then and only then maybe these people will stop!

For those of you who have unlisted numbers as I have. Think how the scam people get these numbers. Are your service providers selling these unlisted number lists?? It is time for strike action. (Shut down your cell phone for 24/48 hours every time you receive a unwanted call from these criminal/pranksters etc. ) When a service provider loses enough business they will take action to block calls and ensure that these people are not getting your numbers. Or pick a day like every monday and shut down your phones for 24 hours. If enough people do it together the service provider will start to pay attention. Strike Action!!There are 20 pages of unhappy people here, who do you think cares.  Money talks.

Got this call saying that it was Air Canada Jazz saying i won a prize to press 1 to find out more.  Didn't.  Wish the CRTC would ban these numbers that are doing this.

When I answered the call on my cell it started ringing. Called it back on a land phone and it comes back as not in service.
