I got a call from this number and luckily a missed call. I tried to call them back. I got the message "the number you have dialed is not in service"

What kind of nuisance is this?

Any solution for this non sense?

After researching it looks like a definite scam, said I won 100,000 aeroplan miles, press one to accept.  I hung up.

The call comes fro$ an "outgoing only" number that's not traceable (shows up as "not in service"), and gets re-routed to another solar syastem when "1" is selected. From there, you have to be "qualified" (over 25 years of age, minimum income etc) and the sale begins!!! It's for TIME SHARE!!!!!  The bonus cash dollar crap is just fiction. I can offer you $1 million movie dollars, but tell you later that each movie cost $500,000 per seat.... AND, you have to buy your own popcorn and bus ride to the theatre.... Yeah. Bite me you beady eyed baboons! Telescammers!

It's 2011 and the scam is still happening. Just received a call from this number on my cell.  I didn't give the automated message much of a chance before I hung up. Something about being wining..........

Just got this call. Verbatim: "Hello. Because you are a loyal customer of Shaw, you will receive 3000 travel dollars. To accept press 1"  in a really bad monotone robotic voice

Phone number was (204) 977-8686

Just got a call from this number saying I was a preferred Westjet customer and had won a prize. But I'm not that lucky.
