Yes, 416 is Canada area code. These telemarketers are stupid people because they think the rest of us are stupid as they are. They call my business line and don't realize I have caller ID and don't answer these #s that look suspicious. This # is now on my list of #s to watch and I have fun receiving these calls only to her these morons hang up !!!!!

Phone number calls hangs up

I keep getting called from this number concerning my computer running slowly due to errors

I too just got a call from a man with an Indian sounding accent. Not the best connection but sounded like he was in a call center.  He said my computer was infected. . .  I asked which computer-he said 'Windows computer'.  I asked again and got same reply.  I told him that was not a type of computer! I expected him to tell me an IP address or something better.  I just told him he had the wrong number and hung up!

I also received a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming my computer was sending virus messages.  I hung up.  I also received a similar call last week and the number on the caller id came up as all 0s.  I don't know where they got my number but they can leave me alone.

They use other numbers too. Apparently looking at the complaints, this number was used in 2007, but then they stopped using it and they came back 'online' in the past month... been pestered by this indian call center/boiler room operation for at least a few years now. i just hang up when i hear an indian voice.

There is no "Canadian Embassy" in Toronto. Toronto is in Canada. Embassies are a country's representation abroad. No country keeps an embassy within its own borders.

Received call from this number today - stating he was from Microsoft. Caller ID said Toronto, Canada. Didn?t give him a chance to say anything else, just hung up on him!
