Yes, 416 is Canada area code. These telemarketers are stupid people because they think the rest of us are stupid as they are. They call my business line and don't realize I have caller ID and don't answer these #s that look suspicious. This # is now on my list of #s to watch and I have fun receiving these calls only to her these morons hang up !!!!!

Phone number calls hangs up

I keep getting called from this number concerning my computer running slowly due to errors

Person with indian accent called said when I browse email it is throwing lots of errors and he was calling to fix it.  I told him how was I supposed to know if this was a scam - he assured me it was not.  Told him I was not interested in him fixing my computer and hung up.  SCAM!!

I have got calls from these people each time a different number. They keep asking for someone named teresa but i tell them its not me but they keep harassing me. What should I do?

I am the recipient of an 8 thousand (and some) dollar grant from the Government that I was randomly selected for paying my taxes on time, not claiming bankruptsey and not being involved in criminal activity in the last 6 months. Oh really? I say...How would I like to receive this money? By Check. They can't do that because it isn't secure..... they could tansfer it directly into my bank account though.In barely decernable accent (India?) they gave me the address to the white house when I asked why my caller ID said they were from TORONTO, ONTARIO. (Got a little attitude about it, too.) If I would just cooperate they would give me money at the end of the call...It was entertaining for a little while.    SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!!

brutally consistent in their attempts to reach me, i could barely understand the thick Hindu accent. there was poor connection quality and obvious other talking  in the background.  total waste of time. i was given i.d. numbers. i have to call a number 206 462 5509 and he said i must call and call because they are  very busy  call and give them the i.d. numbers and from there they will determine how i get my money ..which i assume will require my  bank info or something else first  they will not get. like a 299. deposit mentioned above.REPORT THESE SCAMOS

I was just called from (416) 364-1111 they said they were the US government grant department and I was picked out for a $7,000. Grant. That the government picks 1,700 people each year for grants. And I was chosen because I don't have a criminal record and I don't owe the IRS . That I pay my taxes on time. It's not the first time they have called me and told me that I have been selected for a grant. One time it was $7,200. And they wanted me to pay $299. That I would get it back from the Grant, that they would give me a grant for $7,499. The other one was for $8,000. I didn't respond. I've even told them not to call me anymore. That I even turned them into the BBB & FTC and they still call me. I wish the FBI would put a stop to it. Because some people don't know that the government doesn't pick anyone for grants. That you have to go to the government website & apply for them.
