yeah agree put it beside a radio and leave them waiting these scammers, for me this same number showed anonymous !!!

I received a call from "V070600510031" coming up as "(403) 410-2058".  I did not pick up as I don't pick up calls from unknown callers or from numbers that I don't recognize.  Good to know it's another scam...happens a lot with my cell number.

I received a call from (403) 210-4058 today. The guy on the other end said I had a virus on my computer and thatI needed to go on and let him show me the virus. I said if I had a virus I would call my local computer not someguy I don't even know. He tried to keep talking to me to get me to connect to the internet. I just hung up.

I just got a call from this number and it also said (unavailable). I like to screen my calls and I will only answer calls that  I know and that have caller ID. Otherwise they can leave a message and a number for me to call back.

I had a rather strange offer made to me today by phone at approximately 1:18 pm today. The number on the phone screen was (403) 410-2058 / Shabaz. He said he worked for Visa  and Master Card Rewards program. And because I have been using my card a lot they had chosen me for a prize. The prize was for 5 days 4 nights all inclusive 5 star hotel at Kissimmee Continental Florida plus tickets to Disney World, plus 3 day 2 nights at Daytona Beach Ocean front hotel plus 3 days 2 nights at Fort Lauderdale Florida Resort including a $1000.00 dollar gift certificate, a total of $6,500.00 value. The offer was to be open for one year.

He knew my address but had the zip code wrong. As the conversation progressed he said the only cost would be the taxes and then proceeded to ask to verify my card number. I gave him a phony card number and name on the card. At this point he said I will switch you to another person to verify the information. At this point I said I was not interested in going further closed the conversation.

Is this a familiar call ? Is there any danger in this conversation I had? What should I watch for?

I tried to call back the number on my screen and it said number no longer in use.

I got acall from this number.  The guy with an east indian accent (very bad english) is referring to a computer scam. The pretend to loook at yopur computer and tell uyou what might be wrong with it.  They keep calling and callling. How do I block out this number?
