Indications are that CIBC is scanning for active numbers in order to add you to their list. Just received one at 10:20pm, one ring, and then gone. I suspect I'll get a phone call from them soon or text message.

I am in Buttonville, Ontario. I got this call "(403) 313-3718" this morning (Feb 27, 2013 @ 9:30), it ringed once.

Often calls from this (unknown) number. Aside from being an Alberta number nothing else is known at this time/.

Same thing as everyone else..weird. I never answer when i dont know the number, so i didnt, and it rang once and that was it. Thought id come here to find out who they are, but, seems everyone had the exact experience and doesnt know...

Called at 3:23 today, do not know who it is.  Telemark for sure, no message on answer machine. Someone is just checking on who is home and could be organized crime.
