The same low interest credit card offer.  Starts off by saying he is calling from Mastercard - VISA.  Well, since it is individual banks that issue credit cards, not some central Mastercard - VISA office, I knew it was a scam of some sort.  When the bad grammar became more apparent I just hung up.

Got a call from these clowns today.  I now just say sorry that person is not at this number and hang up, fastest solution.

"Jacob" at some call center trying to sell some sort of financial service.  I told them to remove my # from their call list.  So far, so good.

Somebody called me from (250) 980-3438 on Feb. 08/10 9:50am in Calgary telling me that I owe 100K on my visa and asking me about my and my husband?s visa statement. After I told that I don?t know my husband?s statement and that my statement shows $0 balance they hung up on me.

I had the same thing happen. I mean if the credit card company wanted to reduce my rate because I pay off my credit card in full they'd just do it. They would also know the information they are asking for. And they always ask for confirmation question to make sure it's them. Plus they are asking for more then one of your credit cards, this means they are NOT with the card issuing company and they can't possibly be from your credit card company. Also, did a reverse look up and it's a land line in British Columbia, Canada it appears to be through Telus. Obviously NOT a REAL call center! THIS IS A SCAM BEWARE!!!

They were a group of people from India trying for my credit card numer..F****d up bunch!!!!DONT TRUST THEM!!
