Do not answer as it is a recorded message that this is about your credit card account. Funny neither myself or husband have ANY credit cards & haven't had any in over 2 years!! Scam no doubt. If you answer then they know that the number that has been dialed is a legitimate number & they call twice as often if not more after that! They use a person's name to try to make it look like a real person is trying to reach you if you look it up but it is not a person it is a scammer or a scam run by a company & there is also another number from Toronto that pulls this same crap!

Left me an automated message "if you would like to reduce your credit card rates...yada yada" scam city!

This weary marketing fraud has been with us for months if not years. Reported and reported to the Do-Not-Call list but nobody lives there either, apparently.The only thing Telus understands is money, and it is time that people who put money before people  be penalized according to the existing laws, but that won't happen. In the case of Telus, who have the highest costs for landline service,  disconnect that service and go without for awhile or switch back and forth with other carriers, but remember, do NOT keep your existing number with the new carrier.Great idea, the D-N-C service, but there is no service to be had.

Yeah, they called just now, but these days, if I see any number that is not familiar, I let it go through my CallClerk which sends out a Disconnect Tone, so their computer thinks the number is no longer in service.   LOL

talking about credit rates going up for paying it off
