Do not answer as it is a recorded message that this is about your credit card account. Funny neither myself or husband have ANY credit cards & haven't had any in over 2 years!! Scam no doubt. If you answer then they know that the number that has been dialed is a legitimate number & they call twice as often if not more after that! They use a person's name to try to make it look like a real person is trying to reach you if you look it up but it is not a person it is a scammer or a scam run by a company & there is also another number from Toronto that pulls this same crap!

This time they left a silent 1 second non message

I pressed one and the person said she was calling from Dallas Texas and wanted to sell a reduced rate of interest on my credit card.  I hung up and blocked the number.

Caller said he would get me 6%interest rate on credit card.  Told me it was due to fact that I paid it on time and more than minimum pmt.  he then told me that he worked for all major banks and had been hired by them.   When I told that I highly doubted that all competitors would hire his company to take away their interest, he proceeded to tell me to "fxxx off" and hung up.

Left me an automated message "if you would like to reduce your credit card rates...yada yada" scam city!

Yeah, they called just now, but these days, if I see any number that is not familiar, I let it go through my CallClerk which sends out a Disconnect Tone, so their computer thinks the number is no longer in service.   LOL
