I to, received a call from this number.  They said I was eligible for a grant and would receive $7,500 within the next few days.  The only thing I had to do was to give them my bank information.  Obviously, I was suspicious and did not comply.  I tried to get as much information out of them as I could, but the man I was speaking to was getting very frustrated with me, it was very comical.

I live in Phoenix Arizona and I just received a call from Phone Number 602-639-4833 where an Indian man was saying that because I had paid all of my bills on time that I would be rewarded $3500 in federal Grant money!!! I asked for an address and they gave me 1820 N.E. Independent Ave WA DC and said that he could not give me a phone number because he was a supervisor. What a scam! These people take millions of dollars bit by bit from innocent people! How can we stop them?! DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got several calls this morning from the the number +02. The guy on the phone had an Indian accent saying his name was Adam Smith. haha. First clue this was fraud. The guy went on to verify my information saying he was from the US dept of grants and that I was eligible for a grant. Crazy that he had my cell# and my address. I asked to speak to a supervisor who then came on the phone and said hello mate! What govt agent would get on the phone and refer to me as mate? He wanted me to verify my banking information and being that he provided me with a govt ID and call back number I began to and thought. What has the govt ever done for me??? This has to be fraud. I hung up and tried calling the the number he gave me (204) 668-1100. Could not get thru. Long story short. Hope you read this in time. The govt doesnt give grants without applying for them first. watch out.. I called and verified with my bank and they assured me they cannot get my acct infor with just the routing number as this individual had.

I also rec'd a call stating I was entitled to a $3500 deposit due to on time tax and student loan payments. He said his name was simon brown although he had a very thick indian accent. He had all my info including my routing number somehow. He also gave the (204) 668-1100 number and started to give the 800 number but it was too noisy to hear. when he called it was from an unknown number.
