When you  call that number back, it says the number you have reached is not in service.

For anyone who keeps getting those annoying phone calls, my best advice is to do what I did; purchase a Panasonic KX-TG1061M telephone.  You can enter as many of those unwanted numbers as you wish on your phone "blocked numbers list". This is a great feature and you can purchase the phone on sale for a very reasonable price.  As of today, I have blocked 15 telemarketers? numbers and counting!  No more unwanted calls!

Robot call.  Claims to be "Card Member Services" and to have sent letters to my home (nyet).  This was the "final review" before "closing the file".  Credit card interest rate lowering.  I needed a card several $1,000's in arrears and another "in good standing".  Press '1' to speak to a representative (pressed).  Robot said representative could not remove me from their calling list.  Press '2' to be removed from the calling list (pressed).This is the first time this number has called me.  Let's hope '2' works.Call Display showed name "Manitoba" so it could have been any business in Manitoba - such are the limits of Call Display (number transmitted only - local tel-co does the name look-up).  I deal with a Credit Union in Manitoba.  Their number also shows up as "Manitoba" and there's nothing they can about it.
