I get it repeatedly. 3-4 times a day. They leave no message. This has been going on for a few weeks. They say they are from a local newspaper ( the area code is not even in my province!) and are calling because my bill isn't paid.  I have called the newspaper, who say that my account is up - to - date.

(204) 284-0838 called again today. No one on the line this time. Same message when you call back. "Not in Service".  
Bell Canada will not do anything about this type of consumer terrorism. Don't waste your time calling them. They suggest signing up for a call blocking service at XX dollars/month. It is like complaining to Darth Vader about the air conditioning system - they just don't care! Anyone care to comment?

Same number just called me as well. I live in Toronto, have never been to Manitoba and have no connections there. Didn't answer the phone.SO WEIRD!

I have had this call twice in two days.  I try to call back, but the number is not in service.
