I wouldn't trust Morrison or Murray so disorganized. Both guys can't get it to together. Murray has the worst nasty attitude and don't even have a reference number. Asked for a bill and they didn't email or fax the record. Two I am still getting emails from these jokers after I have dealt with them. Long story short not a trusted company Spoken like a true f*ckin low life. Nice job Were you successful in your lawsuit. I vote you are a low life, never ever pay a collection agent. they have no power I have been getting automated calls from this company for months, daily. Today, I got a letter saying that they were going to sue me. I got no notice that they bought any debts of mine, and I have had no new debts for about 7 years now. I am on Ont. Disability. Don't have any assets. No house or car to seize.

There is also an employee there by the name of Claudia Cortell you know her by her crooked teeth and wide set eyes. She is one of the ugliest women I have seen. she is definitely single and has no friends I feel sorry for people who work in this field as they must live sad and lonely lives. Yes, that Pauline called me threatening to my employer to garnish all my income. PAULINE being shouting on the phone saying derogatory words. I was so depressed and could not understand why in this world has people like her. Anyways, God bless her soul.., more than 100% she will go to hell!! Wow! What an awful job it must be to be a collector. Imagine getting up everyday, going to work to make money to pay your bills and your job is to yell, berate and be condescending to people. I can imagine that after awhile, you would just become an a**hole to everyone. I had the most unpleasant experience with Patrick Johnson who is about as nice as sand paper on my lily white ass. Funny thing is I have enough to pay the reduced amount he offered but won't have the money in hand for a few days. Well, that's not good enough. Ok how about zero then a**hole. I'll take the money I was going to use to pay my account and invest it. In the meantime, go ahead and sue me. Ill pay you $20 a month forever and since I'm unemployed and know the law, I know the court will accept this. Arm yourself with information people, become aware of your rights and don't be bullied by the bottom feeders called collectors. People default out of misfortune not because they want to and the courts are on our side. Your credit is ruined anyway so let them sue you and when they do, counter sue. I agree wholeheartedly that a class would be appropriate, check your provincial laws. In Quebec we are allowed - and there is jurisprudence and many cases won - to sue collection agencies (some go to small claims court)

I would defiantly like to be involved in a class action suit with this company. My wife received numerous calls where vmail was left by Sean Morrison in a one day period while at the same time I would get telephone calls with no messages left, and then finally Morrison left a threatening message on my cell phone. I immediately contacted Morrison who spoke to in a condescending tone demanding that he receive the total sum of $16,303 from me in a 25 hour period or the matter would be passed onto the courts. I advised Morrison that I had not received any documentation and requested for on to be sent which was refused. I complied fully with Morrison by confirming my contact information and even giving my email address to him. I stated that I would make payment arrangements with him which he refused offering me a onetime offer for a total of $12,500 if I used a Broke which he had suggested, surly a friend, and the payment could be held off until Monday.
The next day Morrison once again telephoned my wife and with no satisfaction telephoned my place of employment with no just cause.
I have emailed CCL a complaint letter stating what has been done prior to filing a complaint with the Government of Ontario.
Something has to be done with this company.

But the rudeness that these individuals is beyond the scope of arrogance. I'm looking to put together a class action law suit against Preferred Credit Resources LTD. After reading countless complaints about them, it's time to do something about it.
I took a settlement offer back in 2009. I went to make a car purchase and I was flagged having an active collection notice on my credit report. This was supposed to be closed 6 years ago. I'm stuck paying $10k more than I should have for a car due to higher interest rates. PCR ltd sold my PAID debt to another debt buyer to collect more than I owed. They violated the FDCPA by calling my work. They are guilty of falsely reporting incorrect information to credit bureaus. They sold debt that was settled and worst of all, attempting to collect interest from principal obligation after settlement.
I currently have a civil law suit pending and the best consumer protection attorney I could find.
Once the civil suit is settled, I am going to file a federal class action lawsuit for criminal negligence. I need the support of all of you who've been affected by these crooks.

Got a call from these clowns today. The guy was rude as hell. Apparently, someone used to be at the phone number I have that they were looking for.
I called them back and gave them heck.
What I know about these clowns is that the agents only get paid if you pay up. So, dick around with them as much as you can and waste their time. if they hang up, call them back. keep telling them you don't want to buy anything when they call you.
There are so many complaints about this company all over the net that there's no way in hell they'll ever be able to do anything to you other than mess up your credit score... which is already messed if they're calling you anyway.
Ah, collection agents. JK is obviously some sort of apologist who has a vested interest, either as an employee or financial schill. True, one is legally obliged to repay debts unless declared insolvent. However, there is a set of very specific guidelines and regulations collectors are required to abide by. Generally, most, if not all, collection agencies will skirt these rules to effect a positive outcome on their file. They do this because generally they rely on the ignorance of their debtors to not know any better. Every province and territory in Canada has similar rules regarding the limitations of a collection agent. I suggest anyone who is in collections consult their local agency and understand - and exercise - their rights. JK, your drivel and general hateful and spiteful attitude is why most people hate collection agents, literally the buzzards and vultures of the financial industry. And while you talk of why people are trying to "beat the system", isn't that what virtually all of the financiers are doing with their gov't bail outs, bonuses and predatory lending practices? Truth be told, the banking racket is simply a rigged shell game that always favours the house. What they are doing is quite literally fraud: lending money they don't have at a profit. If every TD customer, for instance, decided to close their accounts and portfolios all at the same time, TD would simply not be able to pony up. And they'd just shrug and blame derivatives, credit synergies, liquidity vs. paper assets, etc...which, in essence, is b***s***. They never had the money - just said they did in theory based on the previous clients' "theoretical" assets. When banks can't pay, it's called a "crisis" and they need us, the taxpayers, to bail them out. When an individual can't pay, they're called "deadbeats"....but have no option of a bail out, or a performance bonus in the millions for failed performance. It's time we did what the English did in the twelfth century... Ginger tell them to take you to court that you welcome the chance for them to prove you owe the amount they say, get everything in writing and remember that they must send you a letter in writing prior to contacting you. If you account is for money owing from Citifinancial I was advice you to file a former complaint againt them with the Ontario Government thats what my plans are. I am also going to contact the lawyers that sued Money Mart and won, I think if there are enough people filing complaints againt Citifinancial they might just get whats coming to them.
